Nosada's 36 Chambers

Archive: 4 posts

I created this level for one or more players. For multiple players, see who can get the highest score. Please leave me feedback if you have any suggestions. My PSN is Nosada_Kage of course.

Edit :
I have played your level.
It was cool, I loved those 36 rooms.
All of them were unique and it was pleasant to get trought all of them.
Btw you should insert a bit more difficulty in your level because it's really easy.

But wait until after I get to play it. Hee Hee

I have your level queued and hopefully I can get to it this weekend. I love me some puzzle rooms. Might I suggest that you "spruce-up" this thread? Add the LBP.me info and maybe some pics. It would further entice visitors to go queue you level.

Hey there Nosada.

For anyone interested in playing this level, here's the lbp.me: http://lbp.me/v/5wd-sr

Now to feedback.

Good points:

You have some nice ideas for platforming elements in here, hopping from platform to platform to reach the button. I liked the idea for the third or fourth room (cant remember which exactly) where you had to time your jumps on the bounce pads to reach the score giver.
The premise was simple and easy to pick up, which is a great start - if the theme is too complex, no one's going to have any fun!

Points for improvement

In order to improve your efficiency with the level thermometer, you might want to try limiting the materials that you use in a level. I saw a LOT of materials in here, and no real theme running throughout - this can be nice for a player, and also useful for you, as you get more space to fill up with awesome gameplay ideas
There were a few occassions where I saw pistons, winches, rods etc with no real usage, as in they weren't moving. It's fine to use these as placeholders, but I'd advise making them invisible unless they are a part of the visual theme

Good start, hope my feedback helps you somewhat!
