So, any of you AGT fans out there notice that background music playing during The Kinetic King's bio? I forget it's true name, but it's the music played during the first level in LBP2. Nice catch. I don't know much about the show but I'll guess this is Sony relicensing bits of music to its partners in other media - Sony BMG has signed artists from Britain's Got Talent and presumably sponsors and helps to produce the show and its spinoffs. And though the show is produced by NBC Universal, Sony and NBC have partnered in the past. Where music is involved, where TV is involved, there are really only about three big companies - the trickle-down is mass reusage of materials bought and sold in bulk royalty packages. It happens all the time in Japan, the weather segment will be the music from some ecchi RPG game from 2002 or something, and I'll know this because I'm a pervert, but then I'll wonder why the weather forecast people would be using this music. Then it turns out the game company was the affiliate of an anime production company that was founded by the same network that produces the weather show. No paths ever crossed, stuff just got made and bought and kicked up. Here's a CD of music with low royalty payouts - use it for your weather channel! Sort of thing. Heh heh. Whenever I recognize music from somewhere else, I wonder who's getting paid, heh heh. Hopefully Paul Thomson gets his cut. Incidentally my youngest sister auditioned for AGT, Season 6, Denver. No callback. ^^;

If it's the song I think you're on about, that's nothing special. It's one of the more famous folky songs on LBP, and it's been used long before LBP ever existed. Anyone here remember when they used it on SMart, for example?

Yeah, it happens. Here in the UK there's a car ad (forgot which one) that plays the music from the New York areas in LBP1 remixed a bit.

Yeah, it happens. Here in the UK there's a car ad (forgot which one) that plays the music from the New York areas in LBP1 remixed a bit. That would be the Honda advert, with Battles' Atlas. I only recall that one because Atlas is my favourote track off LBP1, though. :blush:
