My current project is set inside the dream of a comatose patient. And I have decided that the intro cutscene would be of the protagonists day leading into the coma. But.. I havent decided how the main character would get into the coma. I know that there is a simple solution (ohh just make him fall, problem solved), but I'm trying to get MM pick material here. The idea and whatnot is pretty cool, as well as what I have so far, soo I don't wanna ruin it. If you have any other ideas, post them, be creative

I voted drowning, as it is the coolest, but I think you should take a page from SH: Shattered Memories' book, and start with a brief questionnaire that will decide what happens based on the player's inner fears.

Yeah, I havent played Shattered Memories (wish I did, but I plan on buying the newest SH game), but its also kind of like Case 39. Also, since the latter part of the level is supposed to be in the player's nightmare, it may be more effective if I took that approach

Also I wanted the scene to be sort of ironic, for example, if I did slipping and cracking his skull open, maybe he's in a grocery store, knocks a jar off of a shelf, neglects to clean or report it, and on his way out, slips in it, putting him into a coma. This may either add dramatic effect or comedic relief, depending on the situation and what the outcome of this poll is.

Here are my ideas: He knocks a kids ice cream out of his hand, and refuses to pay for a new one, then on his way home from work, he hits a pothole, which disconects his breaks, and he crashs into ice cream truck At the zoo, he taunts an animal with food, only to realise that the animal busts throgh cage and mauls him putting him in a coma He is bullying someone on a construction site, and is hit with an oncoming metal beam that puts him in a coma
