Hi, im currently planning my Valley of the wolves level, its a sort of mafia level etc. The part I want advice on is the characters. I was thinking of waiting for image import to use real faces that I know would be really suitable but would this ruin the level? is it better to create faces myself. The reason im asking is because im not gonna have any wacky unique monsters there all gonna be humans so i was worried they might look similiar.

I'd suggest using sack-people instead of real people images or even sticker-created faces. Dress up various ways and make some snapshots. Also, think about manga, in which characters are all given a unique 'look' such a strange haircolor or distinctive facial feature. That is done as much to make the characters distinguishable from each other as it is to make the characters interesting.
