It's time for the first not-second-but-technically-not-first Radio Playstation Level Design Contest. We thought it would be cool if you guys could help spread the word about Radio Playstation and one of the best ways to do that is through LittleBigPlanet. So it is time to make a level, inspired by our radio show. It can be a movie of us in the studio, maybe an alien invasion that can only be stopped if Sackboy can collect the podcasts of Radio Playstation for them to listen to, a music level creating a jingle for the show, or some other super cool idea that we have yet to think of. We will collect a panel of judges to pick the best entry and the winner will receive a $20 PSN card via email, PM, or PSN. Rules Only two submissions per team and/or player. Give other people a chance, m'kay? THIS IS A LBP GENERAL CONTEST. YOU CAN USE LBP1, LBP2, OR LBP PSP! Be sure to include RadioPS's website link in your level's description (www.radioplaystation.com). No point in making a level for a website if people don't know the URL. :L If you're working in teams, then PLEASE keep in mind that only ONE of you will get the PSN Card, so decide who'll get the card ahead of time in case you win. Submit your levels before the deadline. No late levels will be accepted. No moaning! All I'm doing is running this show (contest, not the actual show), so if you want to complain about my attitude or something, then go ahead; however, all those companies, businesses, corporations, and etc's that I just mentioned are NOT represented by me and should be of no way be considered anything like me (especially RadioPS, who's owner's are very VERY nice compared to me). Fail to listen to me and make a fool of yourself to the community through, but not limited to, rants, threats, insults, death threats (I had those before), and/or any other type of harassment to any one of us and/or those companies, coorporations, etc's because of this contest will be punishable by intraweb law: a bombardment of soggy apricots (LBP PSP's thing), copypasta, facepalm.jpg's, and anything else we can think of. Will yes, we have confirmed that the $20 PSN Card will be the prize, however, we MAY include more prizes over the course of time (DLC, another PSN Card, etc.) For now, the confirmed prize is the $20 PSN Card, but if we can get more participants to join in, then we might add more to the pot. LOL, I was fine with two questions...but now 3!!! Just kidding. It does not need to be about a specific podcast. I would, though, suggest participants listen to a podcast or 2 for inspiration.

I dont know how a Psp level can be compared and judged with a lbp2 level... By using Creative, of course. Just because LBP2 has better tools does not mean it makes people a better Creator. Remember that.

Well, after watching all of the uploaded podcasts none of them seemed to inspire anything. But would it be okay if it only had to do with Radio Playstation not a podcast of their's? (Sorry, fourth question. Things keep coming up. )

You do realize that you don't have to sign up for the site? Everybody just hangs out in the chat (click "Join Chat" at the bottom of the screen) when the show is on air.

@CyberSora...yes, I do realize registering wasn't a prerequisite for entering the contest, etc., but I was compelled to do so. As Seinfeld was one of my favorite SitComs, I find I enjoy "randomness" (a recurring theme of the Radio Podcasts), and registering seemed a natural thing to do. @Spider-Jew...you are most welcome sir. I commend your desire to step outside the box. Also, did you check out my comment under the Kevin Butler LLP segment? I think it is destined to be a site classic. ALSO...I'm thinking the "right" entry could be an...oops...don't want to give away any secrets here. Let's just say, "I have a dream" for my entry...assuming I am able to find the time to complete it in prompt fashion.

Well, I can say I'll for sure have something good to bring to the contest. I've been play the 2/3 of the alpha that I've made and it is quite fun. @Spider-Jew If you look at the first page it is mostly me asking questions and you answering them. I found that funny.

@ Spider-Jew...I got an email last night for the R&C beta. I have not used it yet, as I don't know if I need to have the R&C disk, which, btw, I don't. So what is this for, and would I need to buy the R&C game? Also, I'm not as far along on my contest entry as I would like to be...I wasn't able to do any developing for several days due to a serious tooth issue. But I am developing again, and hopefully with be finished in time to meet the deadline. I did finish the items I had mentioned to you in an earlier PM. I will send you a PSN friend request so I can send those items to you for review. You will notice they are not exact duplicates...this is because when making the item small enough for reasonable use, some of the material disappeared. Even so, I think it closely approximates what you already have on your site, but I would really like to hear your opinion before moving forward.

Oh, that code has been used. It was a beta code for the new R&C game coming out. I sent the code to all the registered users and the first one to use it won. So, you can ignore it now lol. Sorry that you were having a tooth issue. I will accept your friend request when I get on the PS3.
