Sackbot respawn points

When you make a emitter as a checkpoint for a sackbot on controlinator it respawns but all the cables connected to it are gone because the old sackbot is gone and its replaced by a new one. How can i make it so i can have checkpoints in a level and carry on like nothing happened and all the cables are connected to me again?2011-08-28 04:34:00

You're going to have to rethink how the sackbot is connected to the rest of your level. It's all about wireless signals. Instead of running a wire from a circuit to your sackbot, you run a wire to a tag and the sackbot contains a matching tag sensor. The signal still goes from your source to the bot but the additional step allows you to have multiple bots obeying the same signal over the course of a level.2011-08-28 06:17:00
