Around the world in one level [EUROPE] (LBT)

Archive: 7 posts

I thought of making a level, that brings countries together, however as there are 196 countries, which would fill up the thermometer with ease. Then I thought maybe 5 countries a level, mathematically this would mean I would have to make 40 levels (39 X 5= 195) (+1)= 40, meaning I would have to use all 20 off my levels, and 20 on a new account. I tried 10 each, but thermo fills up way to fast. So I would like to do this:

Please vote on which countries I should use for Europe
If no, please say on this thread which i should add or change

Sackboy's is about to propose to his girlfriend, Sackgirl, however a jewel theif takes it along with his heist from robbing a store.
So it starts in England, he goes to france, italy, germany, denmark, norway, sweeden, turky greece. In greece the theif crosses to Asia.
This will be a 2 level part, I Hope , so sub levels. However I realise I don't know much about some of these countries, I've been to france, Finland, Italy, but only to capitol cities, If anyone who also speaks english, pls help. I would like to do it about the capital cities, For now lets just stick with Europe, and see what happens, I hope to finish this journey.

Note:
This project will start as soon as Moon Base catastrophe has been completed:

Hi,

I think the countries you've picked are perfect! You might want to consider adding Austria too. There are some places in this country that really are worth the detour! By the way, I'm a French native speaker, so if you want to add some lines in French or get a voice actor with a southern accent, I'm you man!

Rob, the idea you've got here is great, but rather than making it European, I was thinking you should keep it to all around the world, but make it specific, like for example, if you were to make Japan, you could have a ninja showdown or somesort. Either way by doing what you're doing I think you should make each part very different, so for Italy its a rooftop run, and for france a romantic vibed scene. for germany you could do industry, and for norway and the sort, snowy mountains! by giving this to the level it would make each bit stand out. I expect highly from this, and I'll look forward to more of this soon!2011-08-28 14:23:00

This is the start, I will make it around the world, but as to the amount of countries, I am splitting it up into continents, then into parts of continents.

I forgot to mention, I have a story planned for Europe now:

Sackboy begins in England, with a few obstacles and platform, he then follows the theif into France. (I have someone from France helping me on France, i.e. french, platforming, obstacles, etc. In france he loses the theif, as he Sackboy heads to Austria instead of germany, which is where the theif went to. In Austria (BTW I would be grateful for anybody from austria to help me with language, and designing austria part of level) Sackboy realises he made a mistake abd heads for Germany,In germany, a friendly woman tells sackboy that she saw the thief head towards italy, (Again, anybody whos speaks german could help, I'd be very grateful, In Italy, they catch the "thief" however it isn't the jewel thief, he had gone to denmark from germany.

Upon arriving in denmark, Sackboy enlists the help of hagbart, who helps sackboy find the thief, he then tells sackboy that the theif has boarded a boat to norway, Sackboy catches the second boat to norway, Hagbart again notifies sackboy that the theif has realised sackboy is on his trail and flown to Greece, Sackboy then travels to sweeden, as Hagbart has informed his friend Wally that sackboy is after a jewel theif, and has no more money to travel. Sackboy meets Wally, who travels with him to Greece, as he holds a personal vendetta against the theif, for a reason not yet decided. Sackboy reaches the theif, who has just boarded a ferry to turkey. Sackboy finds another route to turkey, In turkey, Sackboy has a road rage battle with the theif, but are seperated after a near collision. Sackboy continues to Asia

In each country I will need someone who can speak the language and can help me design the country platformer parts.
If you think I should add another country please say why, Note: I am still undecided on what I should do for other continents stories and to which ones I should add.
