Wireless Logic
Archive: 4 posts
Hi LBPcentral, I am making a grow ray. The way it works is that there is a piece of hologram with a lot of tag sensors on it which trigger a destroyer on the targeted sackbot, an animation, and also an emitter to emit the "grown" sackbot. However, none of the wires that I have connected carry over to the same object when it is emitted from the creatinator. I was wondering if there was any way to make wires carry over or make wireless logic. Any help is HUGELY appreciated! | 2011-08-27 08:56:00 Author: lbp2goty Posts: 104 |
There is no way of keeping wires connected to emitted objects. But there are tags and a tag sensors that do that very thing, depending on your setup you can also just use two Controlinator, one on the bot and one for you. The Controlinator has an option that allows it to be made remote controllable (http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Controlinator#Control). You sent one to transmit, and one to receive. You then pick a colour and any Controlinator that is the same colour will 'link' wirelessly | 2011-08-27 09:07:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |

You then pick a colour and any Controlinator that is the same colour will 'link' wirelessly As you will see from the tag you can turn tags on/off via whatever trigger you have set up i.e a switch or sensor, so you can place a labeled tag sensor on the object which kicks of your 'grow' sequence and it will then detect when you have switched on your tag! Just tweak the range of your sensors as you need. You can of course do the same thing for your emitted object or any objects in your level so there is no real need to use 'spanning' wires at all! | 2011-08-27 10:37:00 Author: CloaknBlagger Posts: 78 |
Oh year, I forgot to mention; If you jump into my stage Doc's Workshop (http://lbp.me/v/2m4w83) I have something called a wireless remote Controlinator to pick up. It's all the way to the left of the stage. If you want to play with it the stage also demos some tags react to your button presses. But if you grab it's blackboard you can take the schematics back to your moon and see how it works. | 2011-08-27 12:52:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
