LittleBigPlanet for Android with touch and Windows PC

Hello, SackNation!

Description of the old version:

Today I want to show you my new small project - remake of LittleBigPlanet for Windows PCs.

I didn't create PS3 emulator. I used another way - I create my first concept level of this remake in Scirra Construct - constructor for games and applications.

I created just small piece of the level with original background, textures ans Sackboy animation. You can run and jump over the level. Also you will see some characters from original game. Here are two screenshots:

This game you can use only with Windows computers and it required directx 9 compatible video card.

It is just LBP game fun creation and in final game I will off course post the list of copyright holder of original game content.

But as this is a LBP1 version for PC, I'd recommend the second option.

Stick it in general gaming I would say. As it is NOT LBP. It is a PC game he is creating, and those sections mentioned above are reserved for things WITHIN LBP 1, 2, or P2011-09-04 01:57:00

I would say this is the correct forum. It IS his "art" persay, albeit in a videogame format. He made it, so yes, this would be the best place I'd say.

Especially not the LBP forums thoguh. >_>

Hi, Ali! It is cool to see you in this thread. And it is very nice that you have 3D modelling experience in Maya 2011.

Scirra Construct use it own language based on commands list with unlimited user expansion with Pithon language. It is not very hard to learn the basics and with main knowledges people can create own platformer or some other kind of game. I pass about 10 lessons for Scirra Construct and than created this small concept. It took about 1.5 hours for finding and transform textures and animations and about 30 minutes in Scirra Construct editor to create this small concept. So it is not very hard and long to create something simple in Scirra Construct.

Right now I convert original images from PS3 LBP1 to sprites for Scirra Construct. It took much time. After it I will try to remake "first steps" level from original game. For the first time I will try to create 2D platformer with only one layer without popit menu (it is not very easy to recreate its possibilities ) and look for result. If it will be cool to play - I will try to create all 3 layers gameplay.

So if you want - you can help me with this project. I will be glad to work with you!

My project is still alive and right now I am trying to create universal version for PC (through web browser and java) and Android devices. Now project have also touch controls, so players will be able to play it on any mobile platform with touch screen and web browser.

I try to create just fun platformer game with style of LBP1. Right now I am trying to recreate "first steps" level.

This project just for fun, so I hope that Sony and MM will not kill me for it

Just for your information - one of the old test release compiled for web with HTML5 still available here http://lbp-russia.ru/game/v1/index.html

It was just very short demonstrate version with several bugs in animations.

It works in any browser with any OS (PC or Mac) (and on PS3 you can play it and control sackboy with joystick arrows.) In this version there were not any touch controls, sorry.

Right now I still trying to find some free time for finish new version for Android and PC.

So I will publish any news about my project as soon as I will have it
