Well then, you might enjoy the idea I've got in the works. Meet the Pods!
Pods? Well what does this have to do with Pikmin?...
Nothing. My idea is 100% original with absolutely no similarities. *cough*
Anywho, these Pods look rather snazzy, wouldn't you say? Do they do anything "rad"?
Hmm?

THEY LIGHT UP WHEN YOU GO NEAR THEM! EeGad, I must be some sort of wizard!
No no no, it would be wrong to get so excited over something as simple as that now would it?

Oh nelly.
Meet the Bitmins. No similarity to Pikmin at all... I promise?

Anyways, these little fella's are what I plan to make a very interesting versus style strategy game with.
Let's grab us another Red bitmin, and a Blue one.
Each cost 50 points to produce, while you can spawn a maximum of 10 bitmin of any color at a time. Any color? Don't you mean just red and blue. Of course I don't, I mean the 6 different bitmin types silly.

Pick em right up at any time you wish! Full of emotion these guys, they have alot of personality (The sounds).
So, now that we picked him up... CHUCK HIM AT A WALL! (or other obstacle, but in this case a wall.)

http://ib.lbp.me/img/ft/47b27da46adb5a2174fded5e7f4c49186410f179.jpg
As soon as it hits that wall, it's gonna latch on until you tell it otherwise. If this object is a breakable one, or an enemy, it'll start smacking it!
http://i5.lbp.me/img/ft/af5855ea4db6fb8688b65e155a951479c095176c.jpg
Of course this process is much speedier with more than one bitmin. If you're in command of a greater following, you can use
the down D-pad key to issue an order to work. They will instantly rush towards the nearest object it can interact with, and if necessary, start destroying it.

Uh oh! Better watch out for situations like this!
We'll quickly smash the right D-Pad button to call the bitmin back to your side.

There we are! Safe and sound, not smooshed in the slightest!

Might as well inform you now, as these little guys can get rather annoying.
Give them an issue to rest with the left D-Pad key. They'll leave ya' alone in a jiffy!

Now, let's show you the last move with this little guy.

http://i1.lbp.me/img/ft/1013674a412f7583c157cd45343287daa54530fd.jpg

Pick him up!

http://if.lbp.me/img/ft/d7f6ab3145dd0201737223ecb4f30b1fb76cb06a.jpg

Then press "o" to issue a "Scout" command.
What does scout do exactly?
http://i4.lbp.me/img/ft/1348cb6ba53425a4c3eefc832e815045e87080df.jpg
It appears to do nothing... let's leave him be for now.

http://i4.lbp.me/img/ft/084908d88bacaf37cd287e8622786b1c51343df8.jpg

HMM? What's this? I've started to beep! Let's go check up on our little friend.

http://i8.lbp.me/img/ft/ab8be219b1d50b40f9e4abc12bd641388f91e07a.jpg

A purple bitmin eh? The scout order makes the bitmin wait for an enemy unit to enter it's visual radius. Once this happens, the bitmin will start flailing its arms about, and signalling you of the trouble.

Once the enemy leaves sight, it'll calm down and continue watch.

Anyways, this is all I have to show you folks for now! I really hope you approve :3 and I'm always happy for help..
