Level Templates

You may know how, once you finish a "world" in LBP1, you get one of the story levels with all of the objects and interactive things removed. If you have finished a "world" in LBP2, you should be able to get the base to that level.
For example, if you finish the cosmos, you get "set the controls for the heart of the negativitron" with all of the video games, sackbots, and level links removed.

I always liked making levels off of the templates in LBP1.

I'd rather not have that to be honest.

I played way too many levels in LBP1 that were just a story template with random things set on fire.... not cool...

hated this in lbp1. I see no need for it in lbp2. (it limits some people's imagination)

Or increse crapyness of there levels because they sux in makeing levels

Apart from the bad level being made from them, the templates would be a lot more advanced and harder to make stuff out of. For instance The gardens simple platforming, whereas most of the LBP2 levels are more than easy platforming.2011-08-27 13:47:00

It was a bad idea they put that in LBP1. People used them to make their levels which means they don't have imagination and creativity.2011-08-27 15:37:00

Hm, I dunno... I'd go for something else. Level templates (IMO) should only be used to observe the unique building techniques of MM. Literally piling onto someone else's creations is unoriginal and lazy. Good suggestion though.2011-09-05 17:23:00
