need help with sackbot hitbox

Im making an rpg and i made my sackbot player emit a hologram everytime he swings his sword, with a tag on it. But im not sure how to make a hitbox so that when the enemy gets hit by it he'll die in 5 or so swings of the sword. Help would be much appreciated. | 2011-08-25 16:21:00 Author: Unknown User |
put a chip on your enemy (or open up the chip if a sackbot), put an impact sensor on the chip which is tweaked to 'require tag', make sure the tags color and labels match etc, you may also need to highlight 'touching', wire the impact sensor through a 5 step counter and from that to a detroyer. So 'Impact Sensor' > 'Counter'>'Destroyer'. Done. Now if you need to know how to make a hollow based hitbox that follows your enemy and detects the sword strikes then either myself or I'm sure other people could explain that one as well, if you want? ok simplilest way to do this - have an impact sensor w/ the same tag/label. (set it to include touching) - Place a counter (health) - make it so that the sensor connects w/ the health - connect the counter w/ a destroyer. end | 2011-08-25 17:42:00 Author: a_mailbox Posts: 416 |
