attack animation keeps looping?

im making an rpg and i have a remote controlled sackbot that does some pretty cool things. It can double jump, roll backwards and forwards, but now all i need is an attack. I tried using a controlinator button to trigger a brain behaviour which is an action of swing a sword once. But it keeps looping, and if i put play once it only swipes the sword once. But i want to be able to attack an infinite amount of times at my will. Can anyone tell me what my logic should be?2011-08-24 23:03:00

Include a an "Idle" Brain Behavior chip and wire it back to this when your animation is finished.2011-08-24 23:20:00

In my head, you are doing this ALL wrong. What I would do is sequencers with tons and tons of batteries and or gates, instead of 1 brain. You know why? Cause it works. Try it, just do like a direction comnbiner with a sequencer set to 5 stripes, 0.2 secs per stripe. Then put a 1 stripe on the start and 3 stripe right after it. Hook it up to hand movement and it should slapp!2011-08-26 12:01:00
