| In this game, your main objective is World Domination. How, you ask, does one dominate the world? First of all, you have to form a nation. Phase I: Nation Forming What is a nation? Nation: a politically organized body of people under a single government. Name: Form of Government: Military: Class System: Religion / Ideology: Political / Class System: Allies: Enemies: Trade: Get creating nations and dividing yourselves up. | Alright, this is what I'm thinking: Have a custom made world map made out of 1x1 tiles: Land Tiles Mountain Tiles Water Tiles Danger (Fire?) Tiles It would basically be a war simulation board game, kind of like risk, where each player has a custom piece with their nation's color. On the map, each nation would be clearly marked. All the citizens of the particular nation start out wherever they please in their own nation (all nations should be the same size at start of game - 10x10?). Somehow (Any ideas?) the number of steps is determined, which can vary, for each player. Either that, or the number of steps is static, like 5 steps per turn (spt). Going over land is 1 step per tile, water is navigable but you need to swim which takes 2 steps per tile, mountains are very steep so they take 3 steps per tile, and the danger tiles cannot be passed. When two members from opposing nations are on the same tile a war starts, thus wars need to be intentionally caused by either party. When two members from the same nation or an allied nation, they can join forces forming a party, thus defeating opponents easier. The war system still needs to be thought of, but do you guys want to have HP and Attack points and the such or some other, more realistic, way of fighting? If a member or party attacks an opposing nation, they can attack a fort/base square which has to be located in the CENTER of the nation. Each nation should be able to draw their own nation with a template of 10x10 squares and some requirements (only a certain # of danger tiles allowed & members must start at least 3 tiles away from each other so they will need to move a bit to unite). Also, if no one is guarding the fort, the attacker can attack it as long as he wants without getting tired, 1 hit per turn. Forts CANNOT be repaired. If every member on one nation forms a party with every member of another nation, the nations territories can be combined. Just so you know guys, I have the next 2 weeks off so I will be able to put a LOT of effort into this. I have flash if you guys need me to draw the map, although there are better artists here. So yes, this would be a strategic, tile-based war-simulation board game if I were to set it up. | Ok, I see it this way. If it was based on Marino's concept, it would basically be like this. Clank: I move 1 step next to Whaaaaale Me: Aha! I move 1 step away ( to keep my HP thus keeping our nations attack points high ) Clank: Get back here! Me: Never etc,etc. I think this would be a solution, not simple though. Say your in your nations territory. When you're inside your nation's territory, your in a "normal" state. Which means your HP stays at 100 and your AP at 50. Now say you move into another nation, you would then be in an "attack" state. giving you let's say 110 HP, and 60 AP. This would promote teamwork, to keep your teammates alive, it would promote more attacking, and less defence, but still having a somewhat strategy. As for the upgrades, say everytime you attack someone, you get +1 xp, we'd have a store called " The Almighty Awesomness of Epic Store " Where anyone from any certain spot, can upgrade their; 1- Armor ( Defence, less HP is lost when struck ) 2- Weapons ( More AP when striking ) 3- Transportation ( Less amount of moves it takes to move from tile to tile? ) The more you attack, the more xp you get. As for attacking people, if two people are on the same tile, they go into a war basically, while this war is going on, others can join of course, the war would basically go step by step, the attacker ( the one that moved into the others tile ) would go first, then the other, so on and so forth. Each city is in actuality a store gameplay wise, although it is actually a part of your empire. You own the city, everything payed in the city owns... Meh, too complicated. and besides, since everyone would be killing eachother, I highlydoubt an Awesome King of Epic Win such as myself would buy goods from a MongLOL. See, get it, Mongrel... meh, whatever. So, I think it would be best for stores to be owned by the computer or something- besides, having a functioning economy that would allows people to have their own stores would be... difficult, to say the least.
