Sackbot destroyer not working properly

I hooked up an impact sensor to a destroyer on a sackbot zombies microchip, hoping that when it gets hit by a car itll go splat. But as soon as i hit play after hooking up the impact sensor to the destroyer on the sackbot microchip he goes splat with nothing touching him at all besides the ground. Im very confused.2011-08-23 21:18:00

You should attach a tag to the front of the car (or to whatever part should hit the sackbot) and set the impact sensor to only detect impacts with objects that have been tagged (and of course, the tag on the car should match the tag chosen for the impact sensor). That should work just fine.2011-08-23 21:27:00

The impact sensor is triggered when the sackbot is on or touching any material or object. So it goes splat when it touches the ground because the ground is making the impact sensor turn on. To fix this, go into the impact sensor menu and turn "Require Tag" on. Select whatever tag you want and now the impact sensor will only activate if an object with the same tag touches it. Put the same tag you set the impact sensor to on the car. Now it should work! I hope this helps. 2011-08-23 21:30:00
