Im trying to create a menu for an upcoming zombie shooter it looks pretty cool and works great. But im having a problem with the links. Ive set it up properly but my level link wont work. I havent finished the the new zombie game so i decided to use an old game i published to see if my menu works. So i chose the level link for it, and hooked it up to the controlinator via selector but for some reason it has a little lock on it. Why is this? Is it because its not a sub level?

Hi buddy. In order for level links to work, The connecting levels need to be published. For example if your main level is called SELECTION LEVEL and the first option on your menu goes to a gate labeled LEVONE. Then LEVONE will need to be a level that has been published already. So as it is now, when the level link for LEVONE is activated it will be locked as there is no actual level ready to go to. So even for now set up a test by publishing a blank level called LEVONE. Now selecting menu option 1 will take you to the entrance gate on this blank level. Also, you have the option to lock/unlock levels. If the lock symbol appears on as level icon, it either means that A. that level has been locked, or B. that its a level link and cant be accessed without first playing the level that has the levle link to access that level.

The level you're linking to doesn't have to be a sub level. I've only seen a level link display a lock if the level is locked. Only other thing that comes to mind is that level links only work with published levels being played online, they won't work from play mode on your moon.

The level thats connecting you to my other level is unpublished, but the level im connecting the unpublished level to is published, and its not a sub-level. For example Zombie level 1 (unpublished) links to zombie level 2 (published), zombie level 2 is not a sub-level btw, zombie level 2 is coming up as a locked level link in zombie level 1 play mode.

I think I have the same problem, I made a hub level with links to other levels, all of them are published and not locked on their respective planets, and when I play the level all of them work fine, but when other people play the level, they see some level links locked, it appears to be random, as one person told me a specific one was locked, and another person told me he could access that one but others were locked. *EDIT: I found out this is a glitch and gets fixed by Replaying the level. In my case I tried it and it worked.
