My overall impression of this level is that it flows very well. The level progresses smoothly, begins and ends clearly like Story levels do. The support character magically appears at evenly-spaced intervals. I really like the bizarreness of the plants and alien life. A fun little display of throwing stuff out there just to see what it looks like. It looks like you built the level on the grid, then game through with a circular bit of foam and deleted little chunks out of the surfaces to get rid of the flatness. I recommend using the corner editor instead. Try using the lines in the material's own texture as a reference point: it looks more random, but it adds fewer corners to your materials, decreasing thermo. Once your thermo gets manageable, I recommend adding two or three more materials for use in your backgrounds, or using global lighting or stickers to color-change your rocks. You're on the right track, I think. Keep at it.
