Top-Down V.S. Movie Camera

Archive: 6 posts

I am moments away from completing my light racing level but have run into a serious problem.

Despite reading every camera-related post I can find in these forums / the internet, I have been unable to successively get a movie camera set on top-down to follow individuals. One camera, always overrides the other.

I have tried sackbots, complex movie camera chips, holo followers, etc etc etc.....

Is this even possible? I must have pure top down cam, any angle causes the level to overheat.

God, I hope someone can help me fix this If anyone can, I will credit them in the level with a special shrine. I have spent countless hours on this project and could really use some help!

Thanks so much!

movie cameras shows all players the same thing, just use a game camera, on the microchip of your car. Don't use movie cameras. =)2011-08-22 00:08:00

The game camera can't be perfectly top down, can it?

Is there any work around to get 2 movie cameras to follow 2 players separately?

Or, is there any way you can make a game camera top-down?

As I said, when I have any view but top down the level becomes over-complex and starts to glitch.

Any ideas, thoughts or similar experiences are appreciated.

Maybe you can zoom in the perfect amount so it doesn't be over-complicated, there's not really a lot of options2011-08-22 09:51:00

To follow multiple players you can't use a camera, you need to have the players on holo material following the objects they're controlling.2011-08-22 15:31:00
