Not a bad try, but it seems to get bogged up a bit...a lot of the blocks would be getting pushed along, and sackboy gets buried rather quickly. Perhaps if you could have them be destroyed shortly after being moved, It might improve gameplay a bit. That way, you could still get knocked off a stack, but not necessarily buried.

Please try my level, Asteroids!!! It's a 1-4 player asteroids style shooter survival level.

Thanks for the extra feedback! I'll try to play your levels soon. I have updated a few stuff. Like in the description, I added more decorations to add to the visuals, turned visibility to off for some logic, and I have decreased the horse's speed. If anybody finds a issue while playing, please comment and I'll see what I can do.2011-08-24 21:49:00

So far: The horse should be toned down a little more. the horse being that fast makes it nearly impossible to climb the obstacles and whatnot, because by the time you jump a few times to get to the top of a hill of square sponges (or something else similar), the horse would be on you and you would die. Therefore missing the chance to get more bubbles. But other than that good job 2011-08-24 22:02:00

I have a few announcements. The first ever sale day is here! All items are 50% off. This will last until August 28 somewhere around between 5-9 PM. I'm also looking for any ideas to be added to the store. So far, there's only five items (and it gets lame after a while). If anybody has any ideas, please tell me. Need to spice up the store.

I also have decreased the speed of the horse again. It is at 420 right now (the speed of the motor bolt). Really want this level to be good. Please try it if you like and see what you think. Thanks everybody!

Extra Note: Internet connection was bad yesterday, so I WILL finish up those levels I said to give feedback on by today.

I tried out your level earlier today (most likely right before the update) and I have to agree with other reviews. The objects piled up, especially bubbles, and should disappear after a while. Other than that, everything else was said. Not bad. I give you credit for making a chase level, especially since there aren't many of them.2011-08-25 18:39:00

I have your idea of disappearing blocks in mind, but I'm having trouble on the switches. I tried a magnetic key switch (failed), a sensor switch (failed), and I've also tried a contact switch (sorry, forgot name). Any tips? I'm not a person who's good at logic. I would appreciate it if someone had an answer. ♪(v^_^)v

Make a microchip with a tag sensor. Wire the tag sensor to a timer, say 3 seconds, outputed (is that a word?) to a destroyer. Put the tag itself on the horse. Copy that microchip and put one on each and every block. Then, when the horse gets close, it starts the timer, then poof! Playtest to adjust sensor radius and timer till it plays right.2011-08-26 01:26:00

Hello,
I played your level and thought it was pretty cool, The only problems I had were: 1. You need to reduce the race time limit as it is ridiculous how many points you earn even if you weren't that fast and died a lot. 2. Possibly a bit too simplistic and some more challenges would be good (not major issue) 3. Too short needs to be longer especially to justify the race time limit and would give more opportunity for better difficulty progression. 4. I came into a problem when grabbing onto the lift to the shop i tried to get off and was flown into a bubble which killed me and the lift got stuck and wouldn't come down so maybe something with pistons would be better.
Please leave feedback about my cut scene level

I leaved a comment on LBP, but i shall also leave one here.

The level looks pretty ugly, you should make it look better, it's just too basic looking.
I would make the Horse look more menacing and demonic looking, right now it's just a regular Gardens Horse with Monster Eyes.

It's almost impossible to die because the Horse moves all the blocks and bubbles around!
You should make it so the blocks disappear after being pushed by the Horse for more of a second.
Good Luck.

Please play my Zelda Level and leave feedback on the level page!

I am very confused right now for a couple of reasons:
>>>The difficulty. Is it too hard or too easy?
>>>Making the blocks disappear. Right amount or is sackboy still buried?
>>>Obstacles. Are they helping the level seem good, or the opposite?

I have also gotten a lot of suggestions regarding level design. I'm assuming you guys want more detail right (like trees, bushes, etc.)?

In my opinion it's too easy.
Because the whole point of chase levels is too juggle between obstacles while running away from the enemy.
And, the obstacles here are just little blocks that are really easy to dodge, and not only that, they get pushed around by the horse so it's even easier because you don't even have to jump them...

So if you said it was too easy, should I make so that no blocks disappear? I can't make it harder with just blocks and obstacles that can be trampled by a moving horse.2011-08-26 17:32:00

It was a neat idea. I like the look of it, some folks have said it was too plain, but for me it may have been too busy.

It's very easy to get caught up in the blocks, and jumping from one to the other is not very intuitive unless you have played the level a number of times. I think maybe spacing out the blocks, and placing them a bit more strategically may help a lot. Or even just destroy some of the blocks with impact sensors to avoid the pile up getting so high.

At every group of obstacles, I was left trying to quickly jump into the open layer to avoid getting caught up in the falling balls and blocks. Eventually I just pressed the right stick and ran until i died then respawned and kept going.

Probably playing with more people would be more fun though. I still found it fun. It just needs some work.

Enjoyed playing this today, one of the under represented genres of level creating. A lot of fun to be had in MMs LBP1 and LBP2 chase levels but not many creators actually make one even though they are challenging and fun to create. heck out my LBP1 example Mr Frosty http://lbp.me/v/tcj2-- which did pretty well.
I liked the theme of this level and the inter plane switching gameplay necessary to score well. There is good foundation here that with a few modifications could make a great level.
A few additions in the foreground would help give the playing field greater depth as would some rear projection.
The single blocks of sponge falling often pull the player to an untimely demise too so maybe the amount of those could be decreased.

BIG UPDATES: I have added sticker switches at the beginning of the level to make the level harder. I have only made two so far,and I would like to hear any ideas you have. Here are the difficulty enhancements' name and what it does:

Time Attack: Replaces the regular start gate that has 1000 seconds and turns it into a start gate that has only 60 seconds.
Frenzy: Puts the horse in super fast mode (the motor bolt on the horse right now is 220. Add this difficulty enhancment and the motor will turn to 250).

Here's how to get them:
Time Attack: Complete the level.
Frenzy: Ace the level.

Try it out and please tell me what you think. More difficulty enhancments coming soon!

I have some new updates to share with you guys. Remember the difficulty enhancers? Well, I have added two more.
Can't Touch This: Makes the ground on fire except at the start, the finish, and the platforms over the pitfalls.
Darkness: Makes the level very dark (but not pitch black).

I have changed the way you can get these. Instead of completeing, aceing, or collecting all of the prizes, I have put them directly into the store. Sale day rule applies.

Try it with difficulty enhancers. It definately makes the level more fun and interesting.

Just played your level. It was pretty fun but there are many things you could do to make this level better.

1. Few people have said it already, the blocks should disappear a second or so after the horse hits them. Half of the time you're just dieing since you get stuck between the blocks. You also can't get many of the bubbles on top of the blocks because of this since they get pushed away before you're even there.

2. Change the way the horse appears at the start and disappears at the end. Now it just gets summoned by an emitter and it just somehow vanishes at the end. Needs a bit more action. Maybe make the path go down a bit at the start and let the horse come out behind it somewhere, breaking through a wall of those blocks or something like that. Also add some camera's to show the horse a bit at the start. As for the end, many things can be done. Make it fall down somewhere, or let it get stuck at an open bridge with water where you can swing across. Just some examples, I'm sure you can think of something better.

3. The horse itself doesn't really look that great, should make a more custom one instead of using MM's horse with an evil eye. The wheels are also clearly visible, add some moving legs in front of it so you can't see the wheels.

4. The level overall needs some more action. All there is right now is blocks and no real obstacles. Add some bounce pads where you have to jump over obstacles, or some blocks on a rope where you have to swing over obstacles. Just needs more obstacles anyway cause it's pretty easy right now (as long as you avoid the big pile of blocks).

5. Add some more things to the theme like trees, bridges, flowers etc. Maybe even add some other animals that are running alongside you away from the horse as well.

6. Move the level links to your other levels to the end of this level, not at the start. If people would want to check out those levels, they don't get to play this one.

7. Minor thing but maybe put the scoreboard a bit further away from the block that takes you up to the store. On my first play I accidentally completed the level while I wanted to check out the store.

If you'd improve this level I'm sure many more people would play it. Haven't seen many chase levels while they're definately a lot of fun, I really like chase levels myself. I also like that you can use the stickers to make the level more difficult, really great idea.

As for F4F, would be cool if you could try my level and leave some feedback. The Secret Temple of Elements (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=61708-The-Secret-Temple-of-Elements)

Ok, so the level may not be dazzling good right now, but i totes see potential in it! the store idea is unique, and cool for a chase level. my two cents, make the horse look like she seriously just p'oed from waking up, I.E. white robes, evil eyes, snarl on mouth, curls in hair, green facemask, all that typical morning blurrgh. the blocks kinda burried me, which i didn't like, maybe have them fade quicker? also, at points the ground looked like it was floating blocks, maybe add branches to show they are supported. lastly, the information bit was kinda odd, most levels these kinds of things are understood with minimum to no explanation. See if you could change the scoring system so it's less complex for a chase level. (now if it was something else, not sure what, this type of scoring system where you stand next to the bubbles would be cool). Hope to see it again when it's looking up!2011-09-11 04:28:00
