LBP Mastermind

LBP MastermindScuzzy007 This level is based on the classic board game Mastermind. A code, consisting of a sequence of colored dots, will be generated at random. Your objective is to break the code. If you are unclear on the rules, google "mastermind game." You might also want to google for tips and strategies. This level is an exercise in the use of logic gates. Let me know how it plays for you. If you enjoy playing the board game, i think you will enjoy this level. Thanks in advance | 2011-08-21 17:44:00 Author: Unknown User |

Dang, how did this thread end up in the PSP forum? This should be for PS3. Please ignore. I'll move this to the PS3 section. Sorry. | 2011-08-21 19:07:00 Author: Unknown User |
Dang, how did this thread end up in the PSP forum? This should be for PS3. Please ignore. I'll move this to the PS3 section. Sorry. I was going to say that a remake of mastermind on PSP would be very impressive. Don't bother making a new thread as the mods can move it for you if you leave a visitor message on one of their profiles. I was looking forward to playing this too... | 2011-08-21 19:39:00 Author: WoodburyRaider Posts: 1651 |

Even on the PS3, it's still pretty tough. I ended up using tons of logic gates. It's a nightmare to debug. I've seen some levels that are based on the Mastermind game but the the developers compromised by adopting a simpler set of rules. ex. no duplicate colors. Had I known it would take this much time, I'd have compromised too. Anyway, no regrets ... it was a good exercise in the use of logic gates. For some reason, I never got around to designing a level on the PSP. I'll probably get around to that when the Vita comes around .... levels that play on both the Vita and PS3, now that's something to get excited about. | 2011-08-23 00:07:00 Author: Unknown User |
