Aside from our community contributions - PSN: sighwhatever Level(s): sackboy's inferno; episode zero sackboy's inferno; episode one sackboy's infernol episode two You could probably skip the prequel, but it's best played in one sitting as a series to get the full impact. He has incredible production values on par with Little Dead Space, nice writing, and fresh, fine tuned gameplay. It feels like the afterlife from Beetlejuice. If Tim Burton made an LBP level, it would be like this. PSN: SubGnosis Level: Ephemera Chapter Two: A Whisper, Glimpsed It features fantastic presentation, and has an aire of highbrow art to it. As far as I know, he is the first to have properly accomplished sequenced animation in any level. The gameplay is embedded into the environment, which truly makes you feel as small as you are and the world breaths and moves despite it's small confines of blocks and gears. PSN: JackIsBack999 Level: PIXALATION 1.0 Far too short for it's own good, but the most refreshing visual style the users levels have seen since Sackhouette. The platforming is precise, demanding and inventive with it's uses of basic concepts that appear in many levels... but it's all about the experience. PSN: Psudonym Level: You Are the Sun Think that LBP is a platformer? Think again. This level is a perfect harmony of sensor switches and rocket symmetry that requires the utmost precision and delicate grace to conquer. You are a new sun, trying to find your way in the universe. This is the best vehicle level there is by far. DO NOT PLAY ONLINE... play on your own, or you will regret. Also try his Fight Tank level for multiplayer madness. PSN: Berg443 Level: Improvisation #1 This level is art, literally. It's an exact recreation of a Kadinsky painting, and is extremely abstract, but fully functional. Every object is usually grabbable, and things are constantly accompanied by a series of offkilter piano highs and lows, that give it a very jazz-centric coffee house feeling. It sounds like a 60's technicolor music score, for an art school animation project. You must think outside the box to play this. PSN: Codim Level: Alien Invasion - Chapter 1 An epic level, reminiscent of the final mission in Metal Slug 3. There's a few hitches in some of the areas, and the UFO can only lift two people on top of being extremely touchy - but it's a non stop thrill ride and is full of variety. I had tons of fun with this one, and it's been lost in the mix for awhile. | 2008-12-20 22:48:00 Author: Unknown User |
