Omg this is very frustrating! Ive worked forever on these levels and it gets like no plays! The only reason part 1 got plays is because my friend put a level link of my level in his already popular level. And now whenever I delete and republish it just to see if people will play it, it always ends up with like 0 plays! Well no part 1 has like 390 because of my friend. But when I publish part 2 no one plays it. And one time I republished it for like 30 mins straight and it only got like 13 plays. How am I supposed to get plays on this game? AHHH! Ah. The BIG question. It is hard to get plays. Put your first level in your sig. Ask your friends to try it out... Make a wish. Those are the most reliable ways other than the showcase.

Ohhh snap! Poorjack I forgot all about you! I remember cleaning out my friends list and I deleted you because we like never ever ever played with eachother. lol, Well yeah there is a big problem with asking my friends to all play it to start it off.... If it ends up not getting many plays then I will delete it and republish it again and I dont want to keep telling my friends to play it.

Are the levels sub-levels? If you made it so they have to be played in order that may be the problem. Otherwise, that's just how it is, you are still getting more plays than many levels that may be better than yours. Republishing doesn't work anymore, so that's a lot of time wasted on your part. Your not the only person complaining about this and you certainly aren't the only person affected by this. Simple fact is, you can't accumulate the same amount of plays as we did in LBP1. Only thing you can do is stop creating for the crown, or the pick, or the hearts, or the plays. Create to create.

Promote it on other sites besides LBPC! Tweet it to MM! Word of mouth is additionally another great tactic. Make sure to link all your levels together too.

See! no. My hearts came from LBP1 not 2. Republishing DOES work as it gets put on newly published page, and no, none are sub levels. I dont have a twitter but if you ask them to play it then will they? And back to Rashilord. Yes i have like 2700 hearts but it i only got them for republishing on LBP1 like crazy, and it seems no one really knows who i am, not that im complaining, just thats wat you seem to think. I have those hearts but there are others with way less hearts than me who have much more "followers" than I. So when they publish levels people play it instantly because they recognize the creator, I along with 98% of the community dont have that luxury, but 96% percent arent good creators anyway. I just think If you have a good unknowned lvl people should have an effective way to get get it the plays it deserves. Spotlighting is a very good method I guess for getting it maybe 100 plays or so but still not the amount of plays some people deserve. Ok yeah im going wayy off topic now lol.

Sorry for double posting but it seems you have a limited amount of characters to type while using the PS3 browser..... Anyway, dont think im only thinking about myself, Ive had LBP1 since release. Im not stupid. I know there are other creators that are very good yet unknowned. But im just sayin.

There isn't much more you can do. Having your friends start your level off right is good. You just never know what will catch on. I have friends with amazing levels, that simply never took off. That's really tough. I know its hard to watch your babies be neglected, or not get the appreciation you had hoped for. If, after a while, they still aren't catching on, then the best you can hope for is to publish something new, and hope that iit gets popular and brings your neglected levels some attention.

I got idea make a trailer level try to promote it and release series next week or 2, since oyur levels are ready you can do fancy date at the end of trailer

I'd play it if I knew what it was called. Maybe you did post the name and I didn't see it. I'm using the crappy, worthless, piece of trash PS3 browser too and sometimes it cuts off parts of messages.
