LBPC Awards

Archive: 16 posts

I've gotten several messages that I have received the bronze award for this or that and the silver award for such and such
I got another one today and was looking through my LBPC XP tab and noticed this:
"04:49 PM biorogue returned the award Silver Activity Award"
"01:59 AM biorogue returned the award Bronze Activity Award"
"10:40 AM biorogue returned the award Bronze Activity Award"

um? You can return them? I don't want to return them. I don't recall clicking on anything that says I don't want it or no thanks.
What is that? Just curious.

It just means that you got another trophy I dont think your allowed more than one trophy.

Or someone else got the trophy and you return it then it goes to the person.

Only one person on the site is allowed to have the trophy at any one time. When you return them it means somebody else achieved them. Activity awards come and go multiple times daily.2011-08-22 02:45:00

Only 1 sack can have 1 trophy at the time.
Here some example:

1.if you have the gold activity award that mean your currently the most active user on lbpcentral **top**. That mean you can easily lose activity or someone can be move active then you. Either way if someone become more active then you, you'll lose the trophy and he will earn it.

2. Let's say you have the bronze activity award, if you keep getting really active you'll probably get the silver or automatically the gold activity award eventually. Remember, only 1 person can have one of those trophy at the time, that mean it will always change unless your planning on being active 24/24 here at lbpcentral for the rest of your life xD.

Hee, hee, yes I am. I was hoping we had like a virtual bookshelf or something on our profile page in which to display our trophies. I was joking, but that'd be kinda cool.
Also, on the LBPC / XP tab it shows that the best group is The Author-ity. What the what!? The last post in there was in 2009. The best group indeed

I think that LBPC should have a signature generator for each user, similar to the Portable ID on Playstation store. I have a whole thread about it.

Oh, I've always been curious about the returning award stuff. It makes sense now that I think about it.

Edit: Ah yes, while we're on the topic of awards; I want to display my shiny purple 500XP award on the forums, but currently I can't find where the option is to move it into the trophies section of the post. A little help?

biorogue, what you need to do is get the trophy again and then never stop posting, so you will have 100% activity and no one will be able to take it from you . If you feel there might be a need to sleep at some point, for a small fee, I will code for you a "perpetual post" script. For another small fee, I will make it capable of posting on multiple threads at the same time. We will nickname you "Activity Man", and you will become an icon on this site. Your user name will be spoken with reverance..and you will be feared.

And for another small fee, I can fix your avatar ...jk

Nobody can achieve 100% activity anymore due to a glitch in the system. There was an achievement called overdrive and the goal was to reach 100% activity. GDN was the first to get it and nobody could achieve higher than 99.9% activity since.

Something like that...

Wow, I think there should be an award to the greatest reply in a forum thread. Or an award where the users vote for who should win it after a few nominees are announced. (Similar to the Community Spolight but voted by members.)

EDIT: Is there a count for how long someone has had the activity award for?

EDIT: JK to being ****'ed off. I did once have silver activity.

There should be an award that the community vote for. Maybe the mods should think of something. *wink wink*2011-08-29 18:55:00

This is all automated and explained / complained about many times. Just ignore them and happy posting. These awards in particular, really mean nothing except maybe you spend a ton of time online and perhaps should go outside more often. 2011-08-29 19:11:00
