This is a very interesting level, although confusing. The use of decorations is very good, and the whole level kinda creeps me out. i thought the maze was a nice touch, and the battle at the end of the halucinations was fun. 'Before insanity' made the first story make a little more sense. the chases were fun and intersesting. Overall 7/10. just a few detail tweaks, such as the stairs in the first level could make this better, but thats just my opinion. Nice level!2011-08-21 14:41:00

Good Level.

I liked how creepy it was and how unique the gameplay was. The visuals were good and design was well put together.

I thought it was a bit random and hard to get but still the gameplay was good. Keep up the good work. Improve on the bomb part though, where the bomb appears and kills you, it could be done better. I liked the boss a lot, but he could be easier.

Ok, i've played it. My thoughts:
-Very disturbing , very creepy and very sick but i guess that's what you were aiming for right? lol
-I'd be suprised if MM don't pull this though :/
-Visuals are sadly lacking, and the level is very monotonous.
-And once again much too gorey, kinda sick too pull up sack folk.
-But it was funny during that chase scene

This was a rather interesting level, complex and sort of a mental thriller. It's deffinitely not a sparkle cookie level like most, the only problem i had was sort of understanding the story. I understood the person was in an asylum for committing 5 murders, and his insanity has taken him over, but what i don't understand is the butterfly. This level is a great one, but my two cents would be to make clearer the plotline. Other than that, the absence of music usually harms a level, but when omitted properly (like this) it adds suspense! Well done! Now about the part with the chair and the spikes, there was a wait before it started, and i liked the suspense it built, but you should totes have the spikey blade come slamming down! the slow impale was sorta anti-climactic. Also, the parts with water was well placed since i was seriously less than a second of death both times, but made it alive anyways. Finally the wall were you have to "try-again" to get past, was not obvious to me for about ten seconds, i'm not saying you should tell them what to do, but rather trap them in there so they don't wander around wondering what they have to do like the wall right before. With just a few touch-ups and some adjustments, this will deffinately be a creepy, yet awesome level the community will surely enjoy. (but please warn the public in your description that this is not for most kids who live in magic-gumdrop-castle-sugarland-homes.)2011-09-11 02:44:00

with all due respect sometimes you have to remember that lbp is rated E for everyone.
i am all for horror, suspenseful levels but i feel that you crossed the line of good taste with the repeated showing of the death in the electric chair, hanging of sackboy etc. if this level was more 'visible' it would surely get moderated.
just my 2 cents.

Visuals: The level beginning had a nice view, I loved the rocks and grass, also the water waves. The rocks had realistic looking shape.
I liked the rain drops in the long halls, as well as the blood drops to add more suspence and mystery, but it's still a bit disturbing in a way.

Bugs: http://img853.imageshack.us/img853/1130/insanity1playerbyyuboys.jpg If you push the button multible times the sackbot keeps appearing to press the button. (No biggie, just stating what I experienced).

http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/1130/insanity1playerbyyuboys.jpg In this area if you designed the water to kill the player before reaching the top it's sometimes possible to get to the top before dying. I did it once before I had to restart from a bug below.

http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/1130/insanity1playerbyyuboys.jpg If the buring sackbot reaches the Checkpoint when you die, as you keep refraining it'll keep killing you; If this occurs it's inevitable that the player will have to restart the level.

Improvements/Suggestions:
I think that the Butterflies Bite banner needs to be in a more readable font.

http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/1130/insanity1playerbyyuboys.jpg I shot this picture for an example; the stairs need to have a thinner and even shape. Using Grid and edging tools help with those type of things.
A small rail on the stairs would also be good for detail.

The long halls need to be filled with some sort of activity. Jumping, swinging. Because the constant walking can be quite dull at times.

The whole level, I seen the first was a 3-layer platformer, I think it'd be wise to make the rest a 3-layer.

I think the ending with the asylum needs to be more detailed, it looks like a a castle instead of an asylum.

Gameplay:
Love the mystery of it. I've always been a sucker for horror movies and mysteries, so this was a nice change up with the Platformer + murder mystery.
The appearing Sackbot was a good creepy select for the extra scariness.

Overall:
Most of the gameplay was fun, it had mystery. But it has a few bugs and flaws.
The red place, with fire, red. I'd think it's referring to H.E double hocky sticks. Plus the white place.
I think that some players/viewers wouldn't think nothing of it, but some are offended religiously, you should have stayed on the main path with the mystery instead of adding that.

I had to boo this because of the possible religious offended players, the bugs, and because it needed more gamplay, other than this, it had a good mystery but kinda went downhill. Sorry, it's just my own personal opinion, nothing against the creator.
If it isn't these places, then I greatly appologize for the possible false accusation.

As for part two, the game is rated E. So it may be traumatizing for younger kids.

I thought the level was good - clearly influenced by Shutter Island IMO.

It was a bit laggy in places, though it never really had any impact on the gameplay. Perhaps there should have been a bit more decoration. It looked like you used a 3D background, but I don't think this was needed.
The ending wasn't really a massive twist, you could kinda tell that from the name of the level, though my gripe with this is surely that this guy should have been put on death row!?
I liked the prequel level, explained everything.... though I'm not sure what the deal was with that butterfly

I just happened to play lbp one more time before uncharted 3

I actually didn't use 3D material, it was part of the background.

and the butterfly is just something that your person sees before/ while killing the other sacks.

In my latest update, I polished the level some more and I fixed the problem that might occur in After Insanity when the guards follow you to the checkpoint and keep killing you until you are forced to restart.
