Just a little mini game try to get as many fish as you can and for extra points find these old wooden crates and sharks .

I love Ecco the dolphin from back in the day so I'll give this go.

Hey played your level recently. It's actually very peaceful, calm and relaxing to play. The only thing that really lets it down is the scenery and design, if you're pushed for thermo you should break up the layers into sections and use thin layers for detail and covering gaps. Make different bits using 1, 2 and 3 layers instead of 3 layer deep chunks. The dolphin control could do with a bit of tightening up as I don't think a dolphin can can swim backwards or back up. It seems odd to have the controlinator on the side of dolphin instead of on top. More variety in the fishes and having them swim around would add to the look and feel of the level. Plus there's no real danger that I came across. I'm not sure if that intentional or not.

However your follow up level was better but I still feel the same things I've put above apply. Yet there's a lot of potential in it and it was a nice calm experience to just kick back and swim around. Plus the custom music you had enhanced this.

Your on my yayed list as I'd like to see more

Ya I been redoing the dolphin so many times and remodiling it untill I finally got it but your right about swim backwards I didn't want that but I wasnt sure what to use to have it turn without going backwards and controlinator. I did used to have it on top but I moved it for a reason it seem like it was heavier to move it on top cause I made a water dragon first before the dolphin which it seem heavy but probably cause I had more on it..anyway thanks I plan on making the next one better and changes on the dolphin.

Maybe ask on the help forums. You may have to put a gravity material tweaker on it to balance the weight of the sackperson, when sitting on top. I would definitely start there and then research other dolphin and fish levels that are similar.2011-08-23 15:22:00
