Goodies for all! (Warning: Lots of Images)

Archive: 16 posts

Hey everybody! While I've been working on my own site I edited a whole bunch of images and I wanted to share them! I edited most of these from the scanned-up pages from the Edge Magazine that I hosted up. (I scanned them even larger to edit the images)

I figured that people would like these because they could be used for avatars, forum sigs, and etc. I hope you guys like them!

Here is the logo for anyone who wants to use it. (It's a link because it is huge)

I don't think I edited this one very well...

It's a shame that I couldn't get all of him in it, his foot was blocked off by a rock.
Needs to be re-uploaded

I'm proud of this one, I had to take the hand off another guy so he could be whole.

Here is a Sackboy in a glossy material for his skin

Here is the traditional Sackboy that we all love

I salvaged what I was able to on this one

Roadster/Hippy Sackboy

A Custom Vector-made Sackboy. I made him right off of a base Sackboy that was in the Edge Magazine.

Feel free to use these for whatever you guys want! I hope to contribute more later on.

Nice work on these ones. It's always nice to have images like that isolated on a white background. Thanks for posting these.

Yeah no problem ;D

Also for people who aren't very computer savvy with photoshop or editing images...I'll help explain how to use the images. Also I'm not trying to insult the intelligence of people who already know about this stuff. (Just skip if from here on out if you want)

I basically cut out the background for these images and saved it as a ".PNG" image file on a transparent background. ".PNG" and ".GIF" image file formats will allow you to preserve the transparency when posting on the web.

Now if you want to use these and you still want to keep the transparent background, saves time on editing them yourself, all you need to do is:

(1) Save the image on your computer. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE IT!!!
(2) Have access to an image editing software (I was able to test this on Photoshop CS and Macromedia Fireworks.
(3) Then right click, and choose to edit the file in the image editing software.

When you open the file you should have the sackboy of your choosing with a transparent background ready for editing, making signatures, etc.

If anyone has access to other software programs and wants to post if you have success or not...it would probably be very helpful. Take it easy.

Heh, well I'm glad I was able to help in some way. Also I think your userbar is pretty sweet! I think I'll make my own soon enough.
