LinkRealms- Awesome indie MMO I found

| http://www.linkrealms.com/ This is a game I found out about last night, and it seems really cool. It's "skill based", unlike most MMOs, so instead of having a class and a single level up bar, you have different skills and can level up any one, a'la Runescape. It's a top down isometric game, compared to old school MMOs like Ultima Online. It's still in beta, but it's being made by a few indie developers for free, so I really can't complain. This has been in development for three years, and I technically haven't played yet heheheh... Beta invites go out 7 pm EST on Saturday, and open signups are 7-10 pm EST every Saturday. But everywhere I read it is said to be high quality. But the coolest part is being able to create your own "Realms". Now, this is something you'd need to pay monthly for. At the moment it isn't fully developed, but sooner or later you should be able to create dungeons and quests and stuff. And you can play other people's realms even without paying. And they need some way to stop everyone getting realms, seeing as how it would take up server space and they are indie, and presumably not attempting to make a profit (can't see how that would be feasible, just seems to be a bunch of guys making their dream mmo). The bad thing is that you have to be 18 to sign up. Not cause of any porn content, but, well, I unno. Maybe to keep a mature community. And it wouldn't have too big a community, but it seems to have an actual community rather then ten million faceless strangers so yeah.
