Hello everyone. Recently, I decided to end a relationship with two people because they were, well, jerks. In response, they start trash talking me on my profile, and every time I delete a comment, they repost it along with more things. They're set on letting me know that my costume is awful (don't care) my avatar is awful (still don't care) and that I'm all around terrible person. It was kind of pathetic at first and I just ignored it, but now it's getting annoying. One of them has even started uploading joke photos making fun of my costume/avatar, and at one point had a long insulting paragraph about me on his profile. I'm not quite sure what to do. If I tell them to just get over it, they repost some more rude things and go "U MAD LOL". Why does this game lack a block feature? EDIT: It's gotten to a point now where he's threatening to falsely accuse me of things to get me banned. Now, this is where it gets frustrating: He published a level of things he stole from me. My old avatars, costumes, and a picture of me from 2 and a half years ago. How do I stop this?

Ugh, I can't agree with you more, we really need to get rid of all the garbage with people spam posting comments, not even necessarily to advertise, just to aggravate others and draw attention to themselves. It's like everyone wants to be the hated name of LBP because that's the easiest way to fame for them. That's terrible people would just bug you like that, they should go find something else to do with their lives, if I were you, I'd simply ignore them like you are, and just hope they stop, eventually they'll lose any satisfaction if you don't egg them on further. It seems these days no one is willing to put in the time and effort to just make a level that could bring them a higher level of attention and at a better result for their reputation. I second the need for a block feature.

Yeah, there seems to to ne so much drama on LBP. I don't have any issues with anybody, but I wouldn'tind the option of blocking people who spam advertise.

It's against the Terms of Service to harass another member. If the good grief goes unnoticed, then contact Sony directly via their customer support line.

It's against the Terms of Service to harass another member. If the good grief goes unnoticed, then contact Sony directly via their customer support line. That's what I would do. Ignore them and delete their comments. They'll get tired of it.

It seems like my advice above isn't working, so I'll reiterate: ignore them. Don't reply, don't respond, just delete and report. They can't do anything to you. Harassment, on the other hand, is against the rules and will get them banned.

I would say don't delete their comments without first documenting their contents and time of posting OUTSIDE OF LBP2. Comments are proof of foul play until you delete them, then your own interests come into question. If the person harassing you deletes them, that's a good sign things are already in motion; but they'll of course also greasily slip out of a situation by spamming, deleting, spamming, deleting. Take a photo of your TV and upload it here. Take a screenshot of their nasty review on LBP.me. Don't give jerks any quarter. Protect yourself. If they play the arms race of being an a**hole and try to get you banned, and they succeed, you will be stuck offline for a month or more, perhaps forced to abandon your account name.

I can't really speak on the matter, I hardly ever read my profile comments or anyone elses, let alone get involved in profile drama! Last time I checked, the newest profile comment was apologising for inaccuracies on their Sonic-based quiz due to misinformed sources. Pretty good quiz, now that I think about it, even with the errors (even though they actually weren't quiz-failing errors since their answers weren't wildly off the real answers).

Here is for a controversial idea. Bare with me. Imagine we would outright ban the rotten part of our community from accessing our levels? We could do this by locking our levels down and giving away the keys through a lockbox level (either on your own earth or a large centralized vault). Alternatively, we could use level links from such a vault. Access to the vault would then be given in dedicated threads on community forums like this one, or, more controversially, on a per request basis. I estimate this would keep out 90% of players and only those who would really like to play your level would take the required effort to get the key. This of course would be a killing blow to your general popularity, hearts, plays and any chance of a spot among the MM Picks or Cool Pages, but hey, didn't we all agree that those are not the reasons we create?

I don't quite understand how that would stop profile spam. As far as I know, you can access profiles without playing through levels, and quite a lot of spammers aren't even commenting on the levels of the profile victims.

Aww meteor, that sucks :/ If anything you haven't done anything to get perma banned so even if you did get banned it would probably be a week or so... I can only assume. Never seems like the right people get banned.. I cant imagine why Antikris or ShadowTyphoon got banned either. Legit creators get banned while people that troll, spam publish and spam comment get attention -_- weird community it is.. Also I noticed after I got kicked that you were testing Ions level too! Hi! lol.
