Hello everyone, For all of you who don't know what Arcanists is, it's a multipler, turn- based, arena game made by the creators of Runescape - but it is a completely different type of game. The real game is here (http://arcanists14.funorb.com/g=arcanistsmulti/game.ws?js=1) but a membership is needed so you probably won't be able to play much of it. Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2UEg6NrX_Q&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL) is a video of the basics of the real game, though skip the part about the lobby. My idea is that me and a few other creators can try to come together and remake this game. It will need to take a lot of time and logic but if it comes out anywhere near as well as the original did then it's definitely going to be a hit. Here is how it's going to work: -Each player will have a total of (x) number of spellbooks and will get to choose a total of (x) numbers of spells from those spellbooks. -The 1st player of the group gets to pick the arena - at least three or four will be made based off of the real game. -Players will then be automatically spawned into the arena of there choosing. -The game will go back and forth in a turn-based fashion; when a player gets a turn he will be able to choose one spell from his book and use it to aim for, or automatically target the other player. If a player is hit, then he loses (x) amount of health depending on the spell. -Some spells takes multiple turns to use, while others regenerate automatically. -There will be a certain amount of time that the player has to move around the arena, and to attack his opponent. -Once a player loses his health, he is out of the match. -The last player standing wins the round. Those are pretty much the basics. I am not a very experienced creator but I know my way around, but that still means that I need some very experienced creators. to help me with this. Feel free to ask any questions - the game is pretty complicated.
