I personally can't wait until this comes out, looks like it might just be one of the best Zelda games out there.
What are your guy's thoughts about the game?

I'm not buying it but I've got good odds on there being some energy ball tennis at some point in the game.

Zelda is a Nintendo exclusive franchise yo! If you want Zelda on your PS3, hit up 3D Dot Game Heroes.2011-08-19 08:46:00

Urgh... I'm going to be struggling to gather enough cash for the bundle after pre-ordering UC3

I've been saving for my own games, because my parents can only buy me one this year, and that will be Sonic Generations most likely.

I've been playing it almost Non-Stop for the last 24 hours, and I can easily say its living up to the hype. You have to adjust to the controls, but once you do... its fantastic.

Highly recommend it.

Same here on what theswweet said really good and they really went up on the enemies cause they block your attacks more challenging I got the collectors edition so I'll say the gold wiiremote and soundtrack orchestra are awesome.2011-11-22 14:31:00

I seriously cannot decide.

Do you want a longer, grittier, and Full-on RPG?

Or do you want the best LoZ since Wind Waker, which does motion controls right? That adds so much to the zelda formula, and comes with an amazing music CD if you buy it soon enough?

What I'm trying to say, is BUY THIS GAME

Late response here, but...

Skyrim. I'm pretty disappointed in Skyward Sword, to be honest. Being a proud owner of a lot of Zelda games, this game isn't really the best one they came up with. In fact, I think it falls in short standards to the series. I don't know, maybe it's because I'm getting tired of Legend of Zelda. What I do now is Skyrim is insanely addictive. It has a massive open world, a lot of quests for you to do, and an awesome combat system (random dragons being one of the biggest perks). Add this with nice graphics and it is definitely a must buy.

Sorry for somewhat derailing this thread. Just thought I'd get that out of the way.

i'm probably gonna be marked as a troll for saying the following post. It's a risk worth taking

What shall i say about the artstyle of the latest version of the Zelda series? Oh yea, it's ugly! When i first heard (more like read) about that Skyward Sword will have Wind Waker graphics, i thought it would actually have the artstyle from all 3 windwaker games (Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks). Instead, i see an ugly mess when the fused the Wind Waker look with the god awful Twilight Princess graphics. But, here's more!

When i saw a gamespot video on youtube (i was searching to see which game website would give Skyward Sword a crap grade), i saw another cut scene that revealed something far worst. It looks like Nintendo has somewhat stolen the art style from Dragon Quest vii: Journey of the Cursed King! It almost looks like one the biggest game company in the world has commited plagarism, as in the kind similar to a college student copying and pasting a written essay, slapped in onto microsoft word (or any other word processing software) document, slapped their name on it, and gave it to their professor hoping that the same person the student gave the paper to is too stupid (or bribed) enough not to look at a website to check if the work wasn't stolen so that student couldn't be failed out of the assignment.

Don't agree with me? Too bad, that's my opinion!

Artstyle doesnt have to be good to make a game great. Im not arguing, I agree, Ive never been a fan of zelda, and I never will, but you obviously play LBP if your posting on this forum, and there a great games with some of the lowest graphic quality of this decade. (Minecraft, for instance) Hell, Minecraft even has it's own Convention they hosted a few weeks back!
And, as for the plaigarism thing, I have not played Dragon Quest Vii, so I cant really partake in talking about similarities.

Minecraft is a lazy man's creation in which he not only plagiarized the game concept, but he passed it off as something worth $30 when in reality it should have cost NOTHING. The game has terrible graphics not because he wanted to keep them simple, but because he couldn't come up with better graphics. All those new textures you in the game, including swamps, snow regions, and new material is because the community added it in. He implemented it and raised Minecraft's price every so often because he's greedy, and this goes along with the Minecon; he charged people to attend, so it wasn't for the fans, it was for his wallet.

Never compare Legend of Zelda with a game like that. It's not even worth considering as a real comparison.
