More Objects
Archive: 5 posts
I have no idea where some of these objects I see used in levels come from. I mean they are simple objects but some of these objects I see doesn't appear automatically from playing a story level. I even saw a user with window curtains in their pod?!? How and where do you get such objects as that on LBP? I can't do much creation do to insufficient object selections. So it would be cool to be able to add more objects (aside from themed kits) to your lbp account. Please excuse me if I seen naive to the ways and works of LBP2. I am a newbie in creating levels. So if there is indeed a way to obtain more objects (other than playing someone's level) please reply and inform me. | 2011-08-15 15:05:00 Author: Unknown User |
All these objects are from different Downloadable Content packs, and some were from the original LBP1 prequel. You just need to buy the packs in the Store section in your pod, complete the levels (If there are any) and hey presto! You get curtain decorations and felt cats and stuff. (The curtain was from the Pirates of the Carribean level kit, by the way.) All the objects that LBP1-players posessed get their collected objects, decorations and stickers from previous levels/packs they played, and so they can use them in LBP2 to use, so if you're willing to buy the packs or the game for all these objects as well as materials, music and sounds then go ahead. | 2011-08-15 20:21:00 Author: Denim360 Posts: 482 |
Some people make there own object with imagination!!! Watch comphermc newer vid about merging objects. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7Uc9Cs9QEs | 2011-08-15 23:40:00 Author: zzmorg82 Posts: 948 |
It crazy how people use objects as a contraption, I saw this and how Comphermc built a Sub-Marine Out of Razor, Staplers, Water bottle and tins. Merge them together and it looks really sweet. It's like building Blackpool tower with bubblegum and lego. Soo, pwn LBP 1 like I did. This means ace, complete and get 100% prizes on everything and do the same to extentions lvls like Toy Story, MGS, and Mavel, etc. aswell as levels kit like Monsters and History kit, then import everything into LBP 2 and do the same like you did to LBP 1. That way, you up to date with all the epic stuffs unless a new DLC has relesed and you end up spending your money on DLC. It cost me roughly over ?100 to try to get every single DLC out there I do not own. It took me a year to get all these. | 2011-08-16 00:17:00 Author: ShiftyDog Posts: 293 |

It actually makes me want to smack my forehead. It actually hadn't crossed my mind to do it that way. I don't know what on earth I was expecting to regarding creating my level... maybe for actual whole parts displayed for me. Now that's lazy. shame on me...? Lol. Cool vid though. I was contemplating buying it but now I am certainly going to. Thanks for the info! | 2011-08-16 13:54:00 Author: Unknown User |
