New tweak for (sensor) tool(s)?
Archive: 11 posts
Ok, something I found new, or not new I don't exactly remember if this was always there, but when you tweak a Sensor Switch, It SEEMS ( note, I'm not good with remembering things ) there is a new tweak. The tweak is called "Require All?" You can either put Yes or No. Now, I don't know what it does exactly as I haven't checked, BUT what I BELIEVE it does is requires all players in the party to be inside the proximity for it do it's rightful action. Hope this is something new and someone double checks if I'm right. (pretty positive) This just in! I just made a really short example, and yes it is what I thought it would be. If you check "Yes" on the option, then all Sackpeople in your level have to be in the proximity for it do it's action. In the example I did, I had a sensor switch drop a cube of metal, I tried it with "Require All?" Set to no, and I tried it with two people, it worked with only one person. Next I tried it checked to "Yes" I had my brother go near the sensor, nothing happened, as soon as I moved in it as well. The cube dropped. So yes it's official that that's what the tweak does. Hope I helped | 2008-12-20 00:38:00 Author: Whalio Cappuccino Posts: 5250 |

Hmmm. Never noticed that before. Sweet. Yeah, it's a great unadvertised tweak that comes along with the 1.07 update. | 2008-12-20 00:49:00 Author: ConfusedCartman Posts: 3729 |
I wonder why they never mentioned it though? Odd. | 2008-12-20 00:53:00 Author: alexbull_uk Posts: 1287 |
This is great. No more overly complex systems for this sort of stuff. | 2008-12-20 01:12:00 Author: BassDeluxe Posts: 984 |
This is absolutely FANTASTIC. I could do with this, as usually I have to place down the Race kit for everybody to be at the same point. | 2008-12-20 19:59:00 Author: Bear Posts: 2079 |
OMG this is great and I don't know why they didn't let us know about it We were suggesting this as an option ages ago and I'm so glad they've added it MM really are doing a great job and keeping their word on implementing what the community require | 2008-12-20 20:03:00 Author: dorien Posts: 2767 |

Is there something like this for grab swiches or Magnetic Swiches??? That would PWN! I went through all of them, and nope. It's only sensor switches. | 2008-12-21 02:22:00 Author: Whalio Cappuccino Posts: 5250 |
I might need to go back and tweak a few things because of this... They seemed to have used this in the story mode levels, so I'm not sure why we couldn't do it from the start. | 2008-12-21 05:26:00 Author: gameguy888 Posts: 159 |
