Big Storms...Little Time Apart

Archive: 7 posts

Right now in the east coast there are LOTS of storms going on why just today we got a seriously unexspected storm while I was working on my notes from my Ben Carson books. We've had 3 storms iin a row and only one day without 'em...but the power supply has been surviving like you do in Call of Duty zombies! If the power had gone out I would still be online since I have a laptop..but my hard drive would just pop out. I wish we had money for a backup battery...like the alarm system does -.- .

There are really big thunder booms yet the power never went out yet. This is storn 1 out of 3 this round...but the last round there were on and off storms...like Sunny Day "la la la la la.."then all of a sudden. BOOM! BANG! OMG!!! "Thunderstorm!! Mom get the latern ready!!" Then all of a sudden. "Whimper Whimper"....rainbow...sunny..."What?!?!" It's so dumb...like I turn everthing off then I didn't need to do it. God really must be giving those plants some mercy!

Ok up to here I follow what you're saying, yes there's been lots of storms in the U.S. lately indeed.
Quick question tho, how'd you be online with a black out if the modem/ router wouldn't have any power?
I mean sure your laptop has battery, but do the modem and router as well?
(I know some do, but not that many, specially routers.)

You just summarized Modern Warfare 3's plotline flawlessly.

Here, if it rains for two days in a row my city (and the whole state) gets into DEFCON 1.2011-08-14 02:27:00

I would gladly take that rain off your hands. We've had 45 days in a row of 100+ temps, no rain since late may early june and none in the foreseeable future. Stock ponds dried up everywhere, corn crops dead, fun times, fun times.2011-08-14 18:52:00
