Back again, and in need of some opinions! Should I make this game single or multi-player? Singleplayer features: - 4 characters - Can switch between them at will - Each completely independent, different weapons, appearance, voices, etc - Eg: Enter 2 characters into a tank, switch between them to control driving and turret (would need 2 to operate) - Reduced logic load - More accessible to random players - Easier to make (before, needed multiple versions of each thing, now only 1 would be needed) Multiplayer features: - 2 characters (limited to 2 players) - Easier to do things with multiple player vehicles and actions - Larger logic load - Longer load times (due to multiple versions of objects) - limited by the state of online play for LBP...which isn't great ... So, what do people think? I'm personally leaning towards singleplayer, simply because I've already done multiplayer, and not only was it annoying, it wasn't too great a success. Also, I want the level to be enjoyable with one player. Going multiplayer would be very limited for single players.
