As we all know this game is becomeing a troolinfested noob mess. But this shouldnt have to happen. Me and a couple of friends starting tomorrow are going to do several things to help players that dont know how to. Find great levels that are not knowen or knowen and help bring this comunity out of the garbage and into as it once was to the sky. I am not asking for anything in return I just would LOVE to see people getting what they have made get proper plays as it used to be. Well I hope we can get this working. Dont judge the comunity for what you see judge it for what you dont see.

As of right not there is no way of joining as this thing is being started of atm. I was working on a level series but I am putting it on hold intill the cool pages get somewhat fixed or this group does help new players find out there is better levels out there then free costumes and kill justen beber levels. I will be starting today by going through the comunity spotlights and grabing a level from eatch of the people featured and that will be a start. Dont judge the comunity for what you see judge it for what you dont see.

However, I think that it would require a group of several hundred people to begin to fix these issues that childish children and MM have created. However, I would breath butterflys if you could prove me wrong. So I wish you luck, and I hope you do well.

Not to sound pessamistic but these groups don't work. Talking from 1st hand experience my own "Level advertiser 3000" and one other I had in lbp 1 (had over 1k plays ) did nothing, even when combined with the efforts of other players with similar goals. We still have; H4H, stolen levels, and now p4p. Only way this can be fixed is MM doing a mass clean up of the levels and ban h4h.... They wont though since h4hers are potential dlc buyers. Every one of them that leaves costs MM potential revenue. I do wish you luck though, you may succeed where others have failed.

I agree, the community doesn't need to be fixed because it isn't broken. Every game that has a community will have its trolls. Its normal and since day one I don not remember a time where there wasn't a troll or two. Don't fix what isn't broken. Besides, recently there has been a surge of "pick" levels.

There is no simple fix here. Wish there was. Problem is, your trying to use willpower to make little kids act more mature. Won't happen. Best you can do is create what makes you happy and hope others find your hard work and appreciate it. Might as well forget about MM Picks. Much of that has to do with networking. Just create, have fun with your friends and call it good. Thinking about the networking, and politics of it all will just drive you crazy. Wish there was a simple fix.

Wasn't the trailer for Demented on Cool Pages? I know a couple of those MM Picks were on Cool Pages. And, many of the spotlights were on Cool Pages. So, something must be working.

It'd be great to make some kind of 'group' for the level, even if there has been quite a few discarded ones in the past. But it must be at least a little bit simple, I guess? I think that we need to forget the ragequitting on trolls and othe junk levels, and instead focus around the main objective that is to 1. make some kind of main area to give information at (such as this thread),2. everyone posts lots of levels that they think needs to be noticed more (any original levels that have been given effort),3. and we promote these levels and give feedback, in which they may end up on the cool page, which others will see etc. That is basically the same as the recommendation's thread, maybe. But there's a lot of LBP players who haven't looked into the LBPC forums, or even know much about it, and they mainly just discuss with others on the actual game instead. And most of them are also sick and tired of the state the game today. If a level is made that could appeal to players, and if we can get that level up on the cool pages, then they could follow with the three steps above. And then the pages more or less filled with some nice, friendly levels and movies that people have actually put effort into, and we all shout 'Huzzah!' and celebrate, or whatever. That whole plan probably will fail (me throwing a plan together ), and if it does it might not affect the community as much as we want to, but it could be worth doing. Also, the whole of the above is only a suggestion. I don't want to order everyone to do this, and if WESFUN or whoever is in charge does approve of this rather loose plan or wants to improve it, you may.

I don't want to order everyone to do this, and if WESFUN or whoever is in charge does approve of this rather loose plan or wants to improve it, you may. sorry about the double post but I didnt see when i was wizzing down the thread. basicly that is the plan. basicly but overall I would publish a huge level hub on lbp2 and advertize all of the creators I myself and other creators that will help me find great levels from this site and others in the lbp community. so I have about several levels i will have in the hub as of so far. In this hub I will not include mm picks or over popular levels sutch as bomb survivals, costume levels, and levels that have had over 100000 plays. I will update the level hub after first publish and organize the levels by type sutch as in this order. LBP1 levels, movies, vs., co-op, and other. That is all the info I have to offer atm. I will update this thread when more ideas and how the original hub is working out.
