O___O
Finally!
Some animals give birth to a pet with the time you needed to make this level

Got the chance to beta test it, and it's fun, really well executed, the controls are slick and firing at the parachuting sackboys is toooooo fun

I tried your level and here's my quarter...

It was a good level and is a workmanlike approach to the term "shooter." Holding down the X button was a good idea, but couldn't you have a shorter in-between pause for the bullets? I felt that the bullet emitters were slow, and were hard to see. The gameplay was pretty basic (since I was playing on easy mode) and sorta clever (you could shoot the ejected pilots!?). The airship boss was also another easy boss to pick off (again, easy mode). And as a little addition, the menu screen was also appealing.

Overall, the level paid respect to the classic "WWII shooter." Good job!

By the way, could you play my level Funoranium for some feedback from you? Thanks!

Hey Psy, I tried this yesterday. Overall A great piece of work! I had a problem though. When I got to the boss section, the boss never appeared. It just played the boss music, and nothing else happened. Was just empty skies. Other than that I loved it. Great work!!2011-08-12 11:31:00

Great work Psy! I really like how you made it feel like a minigame then topped it off with a boss. Thats one tough zepelin XD. All your hard work has made a level to remember. Wish the scoreboards were back online so we can compete. Good work bro 2011-08-12 14:11:00

I played yesterday and loved it. Really good job on this. I loved how the pilots would eject, the canopy goes flying away and their parachutes deploy, and to top it off, you can shoot them! Awesome work.2011-08-12 17:55:00

Great work!

I enjoyed the different planes to change things up as well as the firing patterns. It kept things fresh and the random drops of health and bomb supplies as well.

For my feedback, my only suggestions would be to add a bit more variety to the mix. When I saw the health potion drop down, I couldn't help but get excited on what kind of upgrade I could get for my old WWII Bi-Plane...sadly it never came because I wanted to unleash complete mayhem on the oncoming fleet. It reminded me to much of Contra's upgrades and perhaps thats why I wanted to see an upgrade to my planes firepower OR speed.

I was also hoping for a bit more movement in the planes that were coming my way but they only came at me in a straight line. I noticed they did fly up as they neared very close to me, but why not have them fly diagonal from the start to make it a bit more interesting?

Otherwise, great artwork, menu, and execution. Greatjob!!

Thanks a lot for ur comment and for ur suggestion from the beginning of the game i make a difference in the attacks but whenever i create something i think too much on logic and this time i thought it would change the type of attack and was the reason why not make this change, in terms of how flying in the fleet, i do it for this issue and actually has more to do in the operation of the logic of LBP2 was not my intention to do linear, only that by issuing the deployment of the aircraft is linear.2011-08-12 20:50:00

I played your level yesterday, and man was it fun! It really felt like an old arcade game, and the 40's feeling was there all the way through. The background design was simple, but really fitting, and I loved the detail you put into each plane. It really gave a sense of progression and let you know that you were getting closer and closer to the boss. And the boss was pretty fun to fight, too. And, as a musician I feel compelled to comment on every level's music selection (especially original ones), the music in the level was perfect for the setting. Well done, man!2011-08-12 23:33:00

Awesome level, Psyntens. It really does feel like the old-school shooter game.

VISUALS:
The opening scene is well made, and the planes design is cool.

SOUND:
Kudos to Velvet__Audio for creating awesome custom musics.

GAMEPLAY:
The controls of the ship are highly accurate. Also, this level has some creative ways of collecting points such as attacking the ejected pilots' parachutes. Awesome job. By the way, I need to know something before I finish making 'Cybernetic Adventures Zeta' because my next level is going to have a shooter gameplay. What do you use to prevent the player's plane from going off the camera and go farther right? I used the follower tool with flee on, but maybe your logic version could be helpful.

OVERALL:
This is a great shooter level that feels like you're in a dogfight. A yay, heart, and positive feedback.

Hey just played your level last night and I really had a blast. . .Here's my take

+ The menus were great, added to the presentation and really sold it as a game rather than a level. THey were responsive and didn't have a bunch of extraneous options.

+ The gameplay. Simple yet fun, just trying to pop off a few shots in the time between enemy fire volleys is a great little challenge.

+ Attention to detail. Chance to grab some extra points by shooting the parachuting pilots was a great little add on.

- The sound effects and death animations become a little repetitive. An easy workaround is to make a chip containing 5 versions of a death sound and explosion. Attach an AND switch to each effect set. Feed a randomizer into all of the and switches, and then connect a switch into the second input of every AND gate that represents the ship being killed. My ramblings are probably a bit unintelligible but i assure you, it made sense to me

Bottom line: Enjoyable level. I didn't have much criticism because I was too busy having fun.
