Wandering Popit

Archive: 8 posts

Ok here is the deal. The little popit thing that you pick everything up with (i forgot the name) will sometimes go optical. For instance im working on a microchip and decide to sticker it but when I try the sticker speeds away from the object when I didnt send it that way.

It also happens with materials sometimes and just about anything.

Whats going on?

For me, it tends to happen if there are too many objects. Though, the "too complex" warning doesn't always come up, so I don't know what the sack is going on there.2011-08-10 13:00:00

To reset do you have to turn the system off, or does it sort itself? If the former, it could be a problem with your controller's stick and that it's recalibrating its neutral position?2011-08-10 13:11:00

It's not a problem with the sticks, I know that much at least. It's not just with stickers, it can happen when you're trying to place logic on a microchip.2011-08-10 14:33:00

It's just a glitch in the game, it does that sometimes....

The only way to fix it is the save the level your working on, exit out, then go back in. It should be working as normal again.

It always works for me

That will happen when you use background 3D layers, but if you make them invisible it helps.2011-08-13 17:45:00
