Help! My profile is ruined! (I think)

| A while back my profile got corrupted. It wasn't too big of a deal, I just loaded one of my backups. But now, things have gotten much, much worse. One day, when I got on lbp2, the game started on the intro sequence that is shown when you first get the game. All my story progress was gone. However, on my moon, all my stuff was still there. Except I couldn't use any tools until I did the tutorials (luckily, I found the button that said "unlock all tutorials"). This is about the same thing that happened when my profile was corrupted last time except last time, it told me that there was a problem with my profile. This time, it is acting like nothing's wrong. Even worse, I tried to load my backup, and it had no story progress either, even though on the information it said that I had the story mostly completed. Then, I just decided to replay the story to win back most of my materials. I spent about 5 hours doing the story, I had just completed Avalonia. Then I went to have dinner. | The only thing I can think of is to clear out your community sections in the popit. This may help with the prilofile saving again. Not sure how to go about getting baxk your previous progress... But hopefully a good place to start. | 2011-08-10 07:34:00 Author: Mr_Fusion  Posts: 1799 |
| Man, that SUCKS. I have had various crashes and backups have worked. Recently had a scare where I overwrote my own backup with an apparently faulty backup, but everything turned out okay.
