Sun Lander Project

Well, here it is. This was a junky level before. I received some help (a very large amount) from the one and only I_P1NKY_I, who was MmPicked for his level, Moon Lander 2. I really liked that level (and Moon Lander 1 and 3!) and wanted to make something like it. I am pretty much logic-less minded, so i had no hope without P1NKY.
Please keep in mind that i have much to do still, so i WANT critisizm!

Without further ado, here it is!

Level 1...

Very easy, starts you off.

Level 2...

This ones easy, probably the easiest.

Level 3...

This one was partly made by I_P1NKY_I, the maker of Moon Lander 1, 2, and 3. You must land on a green platform to destroy the green "bridge" of asteroids covering the end platform.

Level 4...

Now this is the hard one. The asteroid on the left moves around, and the one on the right spins, giving you a split second to get through. This is my favorite.

Level 5...

This one was also made by I_P1NKY_I. The asteroid bounces around and you've gotta dodge it on your way to the platform.

I thought it was great, with awesome music and a fantastic pick-up-and-play 80s vibe!

However, it's not without problems. The main one is the lack of a difficulty curve. The first few levels are incredibly easy, followed by the one where you have to navigate round a rotating rock in a tight tunnel, which is just pointlessly difficult. However I was enjoying myself so I persisted, only to find we were back to the easy levels immediately afterwards. Then I got stuck a few levels later.

This brings me to the next point, putting in such tight tunnels doesn't feel challenging, it's just cheap. This isn't the 80s! How about at least giving the ship a shield or something so that you don't die instantly upon contact with the rock?

Next, would it be possible to give the player a finite (but generous) number of lives? At present unless you complete the game you just have to quit, which gives you no idea how good your score is compared with other players.

Lastly (and leastly) it's possible to score loads of points just by bouncing up and down on the end point of each level.

Over all though, it's really fun. I don't normally enjoy arcade style games on LBP, but I liked this one a lot!

Almost allof these said issues have been fixed. I will be changing up the order in which the levels are in to make it have moredifficulty curve as you say. IMO, it gas a difficulty curve, but that's my opinion I guess. There is now a scoreboard, and some of the tunnels are now easier to get through.

Things to be added:
Score taker- when you crash 2000 points will be taken
Lives- possible, 5 hard mode, 10 medium, 15 easy
Powerups- Unsure here...

I will take suggestions for what else i should add!
