Revised Search, In-Game Store, Image Export, and more!

New search modes, a new in-game store, image export, and more are all now at your fingertips. Just pop on LittleBigPlanet and download the required update (1.07). This should really improve our experience with sharing in LittleBigPlanet! Play New Search Modes: More ways to find interesting levels like Most Hearted, Highest Rated and Busiest! In-Game Store: Browse, buy and play downloadable content, such as the soon-to-be-released Metal Gear Solid packs, without needing to go to the Playstation Store Create Save As: Save your level to a different slot on the moon while mid-edit. Share Keyboard Text Chat: Plug a standard USB keyboard into your PS3 and just start typing. Or, press Tab on your keyboard to go straight to the standard PS3 text entry screen. Image Export: save the photos you take in game to your hard drive. General fixes, polishing and improvements, including: Fixed ?Wheel of death? bug where Sackboy could get stuck endlessly respawning out of a checkpoint Better support for third party controllers Fixed stretch Sackboy arms General server improvements and optimization Improved the corner (vertex) editing tool Improvements to how Popit deals with complex shapes Improved Sackboy animation and made it harder to slap accidentally while acting Fixed lights so they don't forget their colour If anything I can say this cab is rare Improved Online multiplayer level selection And I yelled to the cabbie ?Yo homes smell ya later? Why did they Bel Air us? Because that's how awesome they are lol, this is definitely not your average game company. Definitely a cool team if you are allowed to sneak some Bel Air lyrics into official announcements :hero: EDIT: "Save As: Save your level to a different slot on the moon while mid-edit." <- That by the way is great. I was just thinking yesterday how useful that would be. Now if we can get a Ctrl + Left Mouse Click thing going... That's my next hope I know, I like the little things EDIT 2: Ugh... You knew there was going to be at least one glitch caused by all this restructuring... Thankfully it's a small one, but very disapointing for my Christmas Level (ARG! And I just realised my HAWK Lair as well ) So here's the deal: Sickers no longer appear on Score and Prize Bubbles. I know it's noting major, but I'm not the only one who's used this to make the bubbles look neat, and I just checked and even bubbles in already published levels have become the usual blank bubble canvases they used to be Just saying it would be nice for Mm to fix this at least with the next update! Now this is a story, all about Sackboys........ I have noticed a couple more things that the update included. - Sound effects added for elastic stretching, and pistons moving, and winches winching (or maybe I never noticed these before, can someone confirm?) - Proximity switches now have an "all present" option in the tweak menu, so they will not activate unless all players are present. - BUG - when using popit to drag a square around things and select multiple objects, if u select something that is bolted onto something not in the selection, it will unbolt the object you selected and move it with the rest of your selection - so be careful when using this near complicated contraptions! not a second too soon with this update i must say. i know im not active too much here, but have been dssapointed in lbp lately due to their search functions and also being out of ideas for levels. FINALLY. The search function works better. My only gripe is that it's not automatic. When you pull up the community levels (renamed since when?) it should show up and ask what you want to search for, with the added option of 'random'. Ugh... You knew there was going to be at least one glitch caused by all this restructuring... Thankfully it's a small one, but very disapointing for my Christmas Level (ARG! And I just realised my HAWK Lair as well ) So here's the deal: Sickers no longer appear on Score and Prize Bubbles. I know it's noting major, but I'm not the only one who's used this to make the bubbles look neat, and I just checked and even bubbles in already published levels have become the usual blank bubble canvases they used to be Just saying it would be nice for Mm to fix this at least with the next update! I had a beautiful candy green Christmas Gift prize bubble planed for my level and now it honestly looks shabby without the colour You could always make a little circular wafer thin material and glue it on to the front. Why does the it export images at 320x180? That's way too low res. But at least I can finally use my Sackboy as my avatar.
