Some people don't like the MM Pick system, I've heard a lot of complaints about them. They have always bugged me and I want to clear up some things. I will respond to some complaints I've heard about MM Picks. Media Molecule didn't pick my level!!! It's just as good as many MM picked levels! -_-', I see this ALL the time. Most people get upset if MM doesen't pick their levels and complain about it. Media Molecule can't play every level, There are many many levels made out there. If they didn't pick yours then they either didn't like it enough or just missed it. MM isn't a LBP based company, they want to, and have developed other games. They can't spend all their time to find MM picks. Plus MM Picks aren't necessarily levels that are better then the rest, they are just ones that MM themselves liked. Hence the term "MM Pick". I think the best example of this would be the infamous "Love and Marriage". The level itself has garnered tons of hate because it is indeed, a crappy level. But MM Picked it because the creator used it to propose. The level itself has 3864 more dislikes then likes* So please don't complain about them not picking your level. * At the time of making this thread. A MM Picked level wasn't that good.I could make something better in my sleep! It's just MM's own opinion. If they pick a level there is at least SOMETHING good about it. People have opinions on levels and those opinions are usually based on someones experience with the level. If someone dies a lot on a very difficult level, they probably won't like it. If someone has there level glitch out while everyone doesen't, they probably won't like it. If someones doesen't like sitting through long movies, they wont enjoy a movie level. I have a few MM picks that I personally don't enjoy, but I'm always fine with them being up there because they were picked for a reason. There aren't enough! MM doesen't spend 24/7 playing LBP2 finding levels and... There isn't enough levels for you to play? There is nearly 5 million levels out there, and if 98 percent of those levels are poor. That's 100,000 levels for you to play... That's not enough? Unless you play LBP like a machine, every single day. You really shouldn't complain. Plus there are 159 MM picked levels**, a lot of them diverging into other genres besides platforming. I think that alone (plus the story mode) was worth the price of admission. **When I wrote this thread. MM Picks are Biased! A few of those people who were MM picked WORK for MM Steve_big_guns, Johnee, ETC. Have been accused now and then about only being picked because they work at MM. Those same people have never played those levels. I will agree it's probably easier for MM to find a level if it was made by people who work for them, but I'm also sure Blast Radius,Mediterranean street racing, etc would've been picked if made by anypony else.

nice thread but i dont think people are worried about the mm picks cuz of these reasons.

Unfortunately, despite your completely solid evidence, people are still going to whine and complain. Especially those people who do nothing but whine when they've only made a single, mediocre level.

Yeah, but I wrote this cause it's been buggin me. But whatever. BTW... I didn't think someone would get that MLP:FiM reference so fast. XD

Yeah, but I wrote this cause it's been buggin me. But whatever. You're not the only one who gets irked. I often find people who whine and complain about not getting MM picks, and their levels are worse than mine!
