Resetting sounds, emitters & obstacles
Archive: 4 posts
Hi, Now my that my level keys are going out soon, how do I reset sounds, emitters and obstacles to stop. So once a player gets to a certain point sound effects stop, emitters stop emitting and obstacles stop moving so it doesn't sound like a mess at certain points. A lot of them are wired up to a one shot counter. | 2011-08-09 11:26:00 Author: LittleBigDes ![]() Posts: 920 |
Try using an OR gate and a player sensor to it and whatever you used to activate it. So when you cross the player sensor it should stop. | 2011-08-09 11:41:00 Author: craigmond ![]() Posts: 2426 |
You can reset the counters so all you would need to do is use a player sensor (or grab/tag/etc (whatever you need to trigger it) and wire it up to all of the counters. You can do this multiple times if you OR of a the sensors. If you can make the sound effects positional they should not be audible after you are distanced enough from the location of the effects. | 2011-08-09 14:13:00 Author: tanrockstan34 ![]() Posts: 1076 |

Thanks I never knew what positional was for. | 2011-08-09 14:34:00 Author: LittleBigDes ![]() Posts: 920 |
