Hey, anybody know how to make your signature the logo of a level on lbp.me, and when u click on it, ur taken to that level's lbp.me website? | 2011-08-09 06:08:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
So SO easy; I'm behind a proxy firewall so my copy/paste turns out weird, otherwise I'd have done it for you. Basically - right click on the picture of your level logo and goto "Properties" - highlight the address and CTRL+C Copy this into the image brackets {img}{/img}; You should now have a bit of code that looks like {img}http://lbp.me/mylevelimage{/img} - now surround that with the url (the actual website page) {url=http://lbp.me/mylevel}{img}http://lbp.me/mylevelimage{/img}{/url} And paste that into your sig. Hope that wasn't too confusing. - It's late/early for me and I've been up 28 straight! (where {} read [ ] ) | 2011-08-09 06:45:00 Author: Macnme ![]() Posts: 1970 |

Actually, due to the way our image resizing system works, we don't allow hyperlinking images in posts or signatures. The link has to be wrapped around text rather than an image, otherwise clicking it won't accomplish anything. It's sort of a bug we've embraced as a feature - without image hyperlinking, you're forced to include text, which usually results in the user describing what they're linking to in some fashion...which then makes it easier for users to navigate a given signature. And it also tones down the number of images per page, which is always a good thing. EDIT: Or you could use the [imglink] tags, which I completely forgot we had. I tried it on my sig for the caption contest, and it wouldn't redirect. Instead, you copy and paste the link and level's image link, then place it in Your link here. (Your level's link.) so the image can redirect you to the level link without it opening up to resize the image. Example (click on it): http://rlv.zcache.com/guess_what_card-p137583149242276936q53o_400.jpg (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqpn2oyEaX8#t=00m10s) It's a nifty little trick that I used for my own personal reasons *cough* sig. TL;DR for OP: -copypasta both links -Level's image here. (Level link here.) -??? -PROFIT P.S. Use whenever you want to tell other users what code to use without replacing the characters with other ones. | 2011-08-09 08:43:00 Author: CyberSora ![]() Posts: 5551 |
