OK, first of all, I have to hand it to Media Molecule for the instruments they already have as I've been able to make great music with it, but there are many songs (or instruments within songs) that I have not been able to compose due to the correct instrument required not being present. and it saddens me that there are many song I cannot do because of this reason. This post PROBABLY wont be heard but just in case it does get heard I have a simple request, add more instruments like : REAL Strings , not synth strings(they don't cut it all the time) and yes there is a difference between the two. Also, to make them louder( it kinda sucks having to lower the volume of the entire song just because the strings are not loud enough), Trumpet/Trombone which is used in very many songs, Accoustic guitar because sometimes the guitars at hand don't do the job right, Violin/Viola- This is a BIG one many songs use the violin and it gives the songs those emotions that the others cant do sometimes, Timpani- those drum bellows can make a song more intense and give it that seriousness it requires, Orchestral hit- This one I want for the same reason as the timpani it gives the song the added intensity and seriousness, flute/recorder/harmonica - for giving songs that soft peaceful tone( when I try on other instruments it SOUNDS awful)l. Whistle- believe it or not quite a few songs use this an example being Sanctuary by Utada Hikaru its not THAT big of a deal but a few songs I couldn't do because of it( and yes I know there is a whistle in the sounds section but it only plays once and I want more control over it. Lastly, I wish a lot of the instruments already in LBP2 would get a volume boost in regards to their lower note signatures: The Wave Insruments, synth strings, and bass, it doesn't seem like it should be necessary to lower the entire Song just because one instrument is as loud as it can get and still gets drowned out by the others. no I'm not trying to flame at MediaMolecule but It would be appreciated if they heard my request and I'm sure many other music composers would appreciate it greatly as well.

I'd really like a more realistic Violin added or the orignal instrument improved too. The current one sounds strange and sort of not like a violin at all (unless if we tamper with it enough) By 'Orchestra Hit', do you mean like them epic show-down stabs of a group of instruments? Because they would be really great for awesome moments like that. I suppose that you could fairly easily create that using some of the realistic instruments you mentioned.

Well, people who went to Game Jam 2011 have confirmed that MM are adding more orchestral instruments into the game, so you probably won't have to wait very long.

OH! heres a big one I forgot, Choir ooh's and aah's- This one supercedes the rest because what epic song do you know DOESN'T have choir to give it that epic effect? the choir in the sound section doesn't cut it I want full control over it not just a sound effect.

I like your ideas for instruments and really want stringed instruments as well as some brass. I know there's already a lot of synth, but since it's easier to replicate than some of the stringed parts I thought of another possible instrument. To go along with choir ooh's and aah's, how about an Auto-tuned voice of the same affect? I know some people are against the whole auto-tune idea in terms of music, but I have a feeling this might be easier than actual choir sounds.
