[Help] LBP2 Copyrights ?

| Hello, I would like to find the copyright conditions of Littlebigplanet 1 or 2 (I would expect they are similar/the same), specificly regarding the uploading of gameplay videos to sites such as youtube, http://www.youtube.com/user/LBPmedia For example, games such as Minecraft, they include a part in their terms and conditions that allow users to upload videos to the internet. I understand that in a normal case, copyrights wouldnt really be a problem. Media molecule dont mind youtubers and there are hundres of LBP videos out there. (what I mean is, I doubt they would complain) However, If I wanted to become a partner (not necessarily make money from it), the situation changes. You need to have origional content or have proof that you are allowed to use the content. Now this is fine for just minecraft videos, as you have permission, but I already have 100s of LBP videos and would like to know where I stand ? | Ok, thanks. I have sent a message to sakinima. It looks like I would need a licence or some kind of permission from Mm, but dont know where to go for that: "Without the appropriate licence from the publisher, use of video game or software user interface must be minimal or the associated commentary must provide instructional or educational value." | 2011-08-07 19:13:00 Author: samalot Posts: 591 |
