It helps to have your own levels. If you don't have any yet, maybe you should try and make one. I'm new to the PS3 versions of LBP and don't have any levels yet either, but from my experience with the PSP version, I only really started to feel involved when I started playing around in create mode. =)2011-08-06 09:32:00

It really is a creation type game, and a social network. You'll get a lot more bang for your buck if you enjoy playing and creating with friends. It's also possible to get lost in the creation process and not play ANY levels or interact with ANYONE and still have a blast. But no, it's not a typical genre game. I would compare it (if it's at all possible) to Scribblenauts, another puzzler that lets you create and looks charming and cute but has surprising depth if you look for it.2011-08-06 09:58:00

Mostly ability express yourself and show that to others and watching other ppeople creations, sometimes fire up by cheating limits of very limited game like this (yes, LBP2 is it's very limited, if you not get it go see SCII editor), also abilitlity to co-create and use of known and well build franchise.

I would say it's fuel up same way as YouTube is, just more interactive and without money profit

You just need to know how to find good levels. Besides playing MM picks, look on this site's Level Showcase. There are a lot of awesome unplayed levels displayed around here, these people don't mess around with the levels they make
Also, when you play a level that blows your mind, check the creator's planet to see if he has more cool levels. If you like his work enough to know what the creator likes and hearts himself, heart him (it's like "bookmarking" him to find him easily). After a time you should have a nice list of hearted people you want to "follow", just like with twitter. So if you get into your Recent Activity (either in-game or in LBP.me), you can know which levels your hearted creators played and liked in recent days. On the assumption your hearted creators don't give positive feedback to garbage levels, that's how you find hidden gems

Also, make a lot of experiments in create, to get used to the essence of the game.

Try asking someone that has played LBP for a while. They can lead you to some great levels. Also, ahem....(check my sig ). If you're into shooters, it's fairly good.

It is more fun to play levels online with friends. If you are looking for some good levels, first look for some people who make the kind of levels you like, then look in their list of hearted levels. I'm sure you will find some good stuff. I think that is the best way to find amazing art or fun levels. There is alot out there but it is hard to find it.2011-08-06 17:50:00

haha yes it is.... i really like to be proud of my bodybuilding when it comes to video games in a way, like i don't mix the two... but if theres an opportunity to put a picture of myself on my gaming accounts or something i do, just to show anyone can be a video gamer u know..... been playing videogames since i was little and it doesn't matter how old i get if i have time, i will play. Bodybuilders can be hardcore gamers too... I just have a big passion for lifting and in my free time if i am just sitting home i can be a hardcore gamer my self and you usually never see that lol.

Also, in terms of level create, i have not finished the tutorials but the create system is very overwhelming.... if there is someone who would like to make a level with me haha kinda help me out that would be awesome! the lbp community is pretty awesome and one of the frinedliest i have meet so far... so i am sure someone would be willing to help me come up with something
