I be Trollling :P

Archive: 25 posts

Hey there guys. If you do not want to read a troll thread, please leave now. I reckon this'll be removed by the mods, but that's their job, isn't it? I hate trolling, but I would like people to see my views on this one, you don't have to, but it would be nice.

Ok... Cambridge SCEE, the biggest conservatives this world has ever seen, even bigger than David Cameron. They killed both my PSP glitch levels because they interpret it as me showing how bad the game is, and how glitchy it is. That is how they interpret it. They do not understand the hard work which has gone behind the level, the amount of pride I have in the levels, and that I was only trying to help other people create and improve their levels.

Instead of asking me to amend the name of the level, they slash it apart, I had no idea. I talk to AceCreator, and they say they'd look into it, they know exactly what is going on, but will not tell me. Guess what happens? They then decide to kill Glitch Land II. They seem to despise the fact that I am helping other players. I reckon they'd kill my trophy level next. They probably see it as critisising something they didn't implement, and they will think I'm trying to get everyone against them. Funny, through their actions, they have done exactly that.

Ok, so how involved are they in the community? Do they throw competitions? Do they answer your questions effectively? Do they warn anyone before they decide to abandon a game, along with a community of players? None of the above. All they have done for us, is to empty our wallets by creating DLC, which replicates that already made by Mm.

I don't expect any answers, nor do I need any. I just wanted people to be aware of what Cambridge does to those who trys to improve the game; Be aware.

Whatever. We all know that SCEE abandoned the game, but honestly how long did you expect them to stay on it? You must remember they're a company, a shrinking community was inevitable and they probably forsaw it. Companies are usually just focused on making money, which is the point of them. You cant expect them to keep feeding dlc, contests, and game packs to a small community (small community= smaller demand=which equals less money), I'm mad about what they did, but I'd rather them stay in business than keep the community thriving an extra couple months.

I also assume this is your final toodaloo to LBPC?

Nope Ricky. I be trolling about Cambridge, and how they deal with the community. All games eventually lose updates, Mm will drop LittleBigPlanet one day, maybe after LBP 3, 4 and 5 come out (hopefully). I hate Cambridge, because they destroyed my levels before they left. They could have left my levels alone, but they kill my levels nonetheless.

I'm still staying on the forum, but I'm not really interested in the PSP side anymore, as I do not have a PSP, and that my levels have been systematically deleted.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Their opinions depend on how this company has treated them.

...wait. SCEE Cambridge held PSP Contests?! wow, for what? anywho. i despise cambridge (yes random i know: i've been trolled) sure the community has been, well, somewhat inactive, but it seems that the best levels out there still get drowned out by noobish levels. let me name just a few...

We want like PS3!!!
We want REAL Water!!!
Community Hotel!!! Make your own room!!!
LBP Club!!! copy and join!!!

Makes me sick. if you want water. buy the Turbo! pack. it has watery glass.

I'd start to like cambridge a smidgeon more if they made at least one more DLC pack for us.

My point is i know cambridge has abandoned us, but they at least could check in once in a while.
they could make more money due to the "Welcome Back!" Package that sony put together, since LBP
PSP was one of the games. oh and sorry 'bout your levels Struanmcd.

On the contrary, the "welcome back" package would have the opposite effect.

Struan, I'm very very sorry about your levels 'cause I played them myself and found them very useful. Anyway, I agree that this situation about LBP PSP and Cambridge is bad, but we can't do anything to alter it. So all we have to do is wait for PS Vita - I suppose the company that makes LBP for PSV will care about the game and community much more even because of the reason that the community will likely be more larger than LBP PSP's one.2011-08-06 13:35:00

He is saying that if Sony Cambridge produced more DLC, there would still be a reasonable amount of downloads due to the new "Welcome Back" package players. As for your other idea, don't sue. I hate that everyone thinks to sue these days when they really have no right. I'm not going to rant about it, but don't sue it's ridiculous even if you think you could win.

I never did buy LBP PSP because I didn't have any use of it. The graphics were not as good as LBP1 was....(before lbp2 was out) and the gameplay wasn't as decent as LBP1. Cambridge didn't take the time to make the game fun like MM did to LBP1, so it's no surprise no one plays it anymore. As for DLC, that would just be wasting your money due to the fact that your PSP could easily break and you'll have to go buy it again, unless you don't lose that tiny little memory card, which too many people do....

Hopefully, whoever is making LBP for PSVita takes more time and effort into it, unlike Cambridge did with LBP PSP. Because I plan on buying it

Okay, I'm going to leave in a bit, so I'm feeling generous here. In other words, I'm actually going to give a crap what this guy is saying and respond to him, because while he's saying he doesn't want our opinions, he really wants attention. So why not?

They do not understand the hard work which has gone behind the level, the amount of pride I have in the levels, and that I was only trying to help other people create and improve their levels.

Like LBP1, everything you make in LBP PSP is owned by Mm, or in this case, Cambridge. They have the right to take it down, much like our staff have the right to ban you, only our staff needs a reason. Cambridge, not so much.

Instead of asking me to amend the name of the level, they slash it apart, I had no idea. I talk to AceCreator, and they say they'd look into it, they know exactly what is going on, but will not tell me. Guess what happens? They then decide to kill Glitch Land II. They probably see it as critisising something they didn't implement, and they will think I'm trying to get everyone against them. Funny, through their actions, they have done exactly that.

What's funny is the fact that you're crying over this glitch. Admit it: you know people found it by themselves too, and maybe even before you. You just want to take credit for it (like the LBP1 invisible dark matter glitch; a lot of people took credit for that).

Welcome to our world.

If you're barely grasping the concept of a game developer making money off DLC, then abandoning its community for its own personal reasons, then you've clearly been under a rock. At least they had the decency to tell us they were leaving, instead of other developers who just vanish out of thin air.

I don't expect any answers, nor do I need any. I just wanted people to be aware of what Cambridge does to those who trys to improve the game; Be aware.

Sure you are. And your thread title is clearly a subliminal message shouting "I'm your savior! Listen!"

Like I said, you want attention. The way I see it, you're mad/sad that they took down your level. So, instead of letting this go unnoticed and forgotten, you decided to make an attention whore out of yourself by telling everybody this with no real goal but to draw interest in yourself and your "accomplishments". You trying to hide this fact is stupid, like this "suggestion":

On the contrary, the "welcome back" package would have the opposite effect.
straun: you should sue! lol but in all seriousness: you should sue :kz:

Given by that response, I say jimmy could care less than anybody here. And quite frankly, I feel the same way.

I hope you can stop feeling butthurt about this. Feel free to try respond to me, or just leave this thread to die.

Cybersora just trolled. Which is great, this is a trolling thread
I never took the credit for the glitches, I show people how to use them, and I did research to find out where the glitches had originated from. I add the name next to the glitch. I guess you don't understand that in your mindless troll post. Everyone has the right to an opinion. You have the right to post, and I have the right to reflect upon my feelings about Sony Cambridge. I would be delighted if you could prove your thoughts of "I'm the savior". That is a very vague interpretation of what I've said, and to that point, you are unable to at least quote a term, or emotive language to support that. So as far as I am aware, that statement is invalid without evidence.

Remember, you don't have to reply to a thread, you've got yourself involved, and although it is unlikely that you would admit it, probably just for your own amusement. Is that what LBPC was created for? Trying to put others down because you don't agree with what they have to say? No. I see some valid points about how Cambridge declined, and that may be due to the fact that it has been the first community I have really become involved in, and I haven't had past experience with games companies.

Okay! I can't hold it anymore. Your accusations are funny to me, and that last quote there is EXACTLY the reason I'm doing this. I don't know why you got the idea I was trying to hide this fact, but that made my day.

Is that what LBPC was created for? Trying to put others down because you don't agree with what they have to say? No.

You nailed it. LBPCentral was made to have fun, share our ideas and creations, and get to know each other better. You clearly stated that you shared your opinion; well, I shared mine. It's not like I reported you or anything, and as a matter of fact, you knew you were going to get a reply like mine soon, so don't complain about it too much.

I see some valid points about how Cambridge declined, and that may be due to the fact that it has been the first community I have really become involved in, and I haven't had past experience with games companies.

Exactly. We didn't know it was going to happen, and quiet frankly I'm upset they left, especially with LBP PSP at a horribly state (bugs, glitches, etc.) Still, I applaud for their commitment to a game they didn't even originally produce, and I'm glad they were honest. Besides, with LBPV coming out, I'm all good.

Hello struanmcd. I am sorry to hear that some of your levels have been deleted. I have played your Beginner Logic Pack, The Level that plays itself(Scenic) and Trophies and Achievments for LBP to name but a few and have found them very useful and informative. I also actually think you make some valid points on this thread. I do not understand why some levels are deleted and others are not. One of the earliest levels I ever downloaded on the community moon was The Lost Crystal Caverns by ryryryan and I have played through it multiple times. That is until I started playing lbp in February after an absence of about a year. I now find that this level has been banned. The reason given is that it has been found to be in breach of the Terms of Service. I did not find anything in the level that was any different from hundreds of others that I have played so do not understand why this was banned. Perhaps someone on this forum could fill me in on why the level was taken down as I thought it was excellent and do not think it was fair to have been deleted.

HERP DERP, WE WANT AN UPDATE JUST LIKE PS3S EVEN THOUGH PSP CAN BARELY EVEN RUN LBP PSP WITHOUT TONS OF BUGS AND CRASHES!
Seriously, this yellowdet guy and his army of brainless feathery ******** with stupid levels reuploaded to Community Moon are stupid.
Worst part is, everyone trusts Yellowdet's capability of updating the game, even though he speaks in third person, all his levels suck and he says updating sponge to be blown up by explosives will take up 12 MB. Are you ****ing kidding me.

x) Wow, this was quite entertaining... And to be honest, I thought it was time those glitch levels went down... Yeah, glitches are cool. You're right the community can use glitches to help improve their level. You know what will also help improve their level? Using the corner editor. xD But you don't see people using it. hahha. And for those good creators, yes, what about them? I'm pretty sure they would need promoting anyway. That's why LBPCentral is here. They promote, make friends, and guess what, they might learn a glitch or two just being on this site talking to people. x) The end. By the way CyberSora, YOU are funny. hahha.

Not trying to sound mean, even thought this is a trolling thread. xD However, yeah, it sucks to lose a level. Though, you make it seem like you're the one of the few who lost a level. I'm pretty a lot of people have. Not for the reason of Cambridge taking them off, but I'm definitely most sure that lot's of players lost a level because the game went cheap and corrupted their level. Or worst, their profile.
