The Alien costume was only with the special edition. | 2011-08-03 23:07:00 Author: Zero10100 Posts: 385 |
No, actually, it is being released with the Toy Story Level Pack, like a Pelegosto Costume was released with the Pirates Level Pack, I'm not quite sure where I found the costume in the Pirates one, so I can't help, but if I find out, I'll let you know Update: Just looked at the collectables section of the Pirate kit, shows that I got the bonus costume in the Next to last main level, so that's where I'd check. Who knows, maybe you get it if you ace a level or something. Cheers, flyinhawaiian | 2011-08-03 23:10:00 Author: flyinhawaiian Posts: 357 |
You dont get it in a level at all, provided you downloaded it you already have it in your popit. Its not actually IN the kit, its seperate. | 2011-08-04 01:39:00 Author: ATMLVE Posts: 1177 |
i have exactly the same problem, i downloaded it from the psn store, i have also found that there are 2 different toy story pack downloads one with the title TOY STORY LEVEL KIT (+ alien costume).... (the one i downloaded and probably you too) and theres one in the lbp2 section which is titled just: Toy story level kit. it says i have downloaded the top one but not the one the one in the lbp2 section, this probably is related to the problem. p.s. COME ON SONY why are their 2 downloads available for the same pack. sort it out. | 2011-08-04 10:12:00 Author: Unknown User |
I just found it already in my poppit. If you sort by newest, it is out of order. Mine was somewhere in the middle. Sort by theme, and look for the Toy Story section. | 2011-08-04 17:45:00 Author: tdarb Posts: 689 |
I see that the people with are in American time zones and those without are in the UK timezone. | 2011-08-04 19:27:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |

Blame sony I would'nt trust em with anything, I mean we missed out on the xmas dlc last year they're always sucking up to people in the US, so then us in the UK get forgotten they better sort this out and give us codes for what we already purchased | 2011-08-05 12:31:00 Author: sonicfan-1 Posts: 41 |
yeah... ALLWAYS BUY IN GAME.... ALLLLLLLWAYS!! my friend has lost at least 20 dollors in stickers and having to rebuy costumes that were all ready owned That's silly. I never buy in-game, and haven't had any problems, apart from seemingly losing a free costume that turned out to be "bought" by another account. So if you're missing something, after getting a new/refurbished PS3 for example, make sure to check the other accounts. Also, if you buy something, whether in the store or in the game, and it doesn't work, you don't lose your money. You have rights as a consumer, so contact customer service to get it fixed or get a refund. In this case it seems to be a problem with the package on the EU store, so they're probable working to fix it already. | 2011-08-05 12:41:00 Author: Rogar Posts: 2284 |
Ok... so in Australia (the same as the EU store normally). I purchased in game. The description text says "even dress Sackboy up in an alien costume" I don't have the costume. I jumped on the Actual store and it knows that I purchased the costume pack but the Level pack is not flagged as a purchase. The description and name are the same "Toy Story Level Kit" and both end with the same line "even dress Sackboy up in an alien costume"... I think that something has gone wrong. I guess I'll have to contact customer support. Bleh. Like it's worth my time. I should just buy the kit again $10 vs a 30min phone call just to ask what happened. I still will, but I'll be eating an Apple while on the phone because it's super annoying to the person on the other end. | 2011-08-05 12:57:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
UPDATE There is a Get Satisfaction Thread (http://getsatisfaction.com/littlebigplanet/topics/alien_costume)up about this My input: I purchased in game and did not get it... I then jumped into the PSN store and it was all titled the same (as Toy Story Level Kit) but did not register that I had purchased. I checked my downloads list and it says that I have purchased Toy Story Level Kit + Alien Costume. I do not have the alien costume separate in my download list. I re-downloaded the level kit that says '+Alien Costume' but it still is not in my popit. I then deleted my LBP and LBP2 DLC saves as well as the LBP2 Game data. Re loading into the in game store listed everything as purchased, but not yet downloaded and was all greyed out EXCEPT for the Toy Story Level Kit it was available for purchase. I went into the PSN download manager and it was still there with '+Alien' costume and I re-downloaded it. Went back into the game but still do not have the costume. | 2011-08-06 03:01:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
