im gona make it short and simple...my thermo says im overheating when i've actually got four mini bars left on it to create with. it just stops and says i can't add anymore? is it just me or does anyone get this

You are probably over-heating one of the many hidden thermos that comprise the thermo bar you see in-game. I'd link the old LBP1 thread concerning the thermo and how it works, but I'm not sure how much of it still applies. Granted, this is just a guess. What are you editing in game when you get the error?

ive never had this problem with lbp1. its not a specific thing im editing when i get the overheating message. i just get the message when i hit a certain point on the thermo like i said.

If you have emitters, turn them off while you're working. If possible, work on object in a blank level and then bring them into your main level.

What exactly are you making/using in the level? I suggest asking Aya about it and showing the level.
