Remove EMO Hair

Don't you think it's getting way too over populated, the chance of meeting someone online that is not an emo = 1% while the chance of getting to play with emos = 99% chance If you look to the side, where snapshots in the level are shown to the public, you would just gasp and gasp and get mad you see something horrible, if you enlarged the snapshots spotlight, i guaranteed that you will find emo pictures, it would be very nice if media molecule patched the emo hair, not only the emo hair, but the ingredients into making an emo sackboy. | 2011-08-03 00:57:00 Author: Unknown User |
Is the emo hair the Hero hair from the ragdoll pack..? | 2011-08-03 01:05:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
Is the emo hair the Hero hair from the ragdoll pack..? I think so, but as those people come up with new ideas to make an emo sackboy, it will be outrageous, GERMAN: empromend! I don't think Media Molecule will actually listen to any feedback. | 2011-08-03 01:10:00 Author: Unknown User |
Well, I think they are unlikely to make people pay for content and then just take it away from them on a whim.... It is a really nice costume piece as well... | 2011-08-03 01:24:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
It doesn't make much sense for MM to take away something that's popular just because a few people are annoyed by it.. | 2011-08-03 01:26:00 Author: RabidJellyfish Posts: 130 |
So... they should remove content because a lot of people like it? O_o ... I see... | 2011-08-03 01:35:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |
Also, everyone paid the 5$ (?) to get it... Its like haveing sony take back all the PS3s because the Xbox fans complain. Also... all thoes people who love it would complain nonstop intill it is brought back. More spam levels, People at MM getting 100ds of emails a day with subject "Bring back hair!!! Please!!!!1!!!!" Also Pms on Their PSN. In short, Nothing good that outweighs the bad comes from taking it away. Everone needs to just deal with it... No matter how bad it seems to some people. | 2011-08-03 01:39:00 Author: Unknown User |
To be honest, I bought the Ragdoll Kung Fu pack because the Hero hair, but once people started making emos with it, I didn't like it anymore. I also don't think MM should get rid of it because some people use it for a good use, and people love it. I just hate how emos say that they are an "LBP emo" because their life sucks, but honestly, I think MM shouldn't get rid of Hero hair. They should just ban the emos that think it's cool to spam photo's of them, not the level, and upload them to the level. | 2011-08-03 01:52:00 Author: TheMonkeyBlade Posts: 687 |
All EMO hair must be terminated! I've got a plan. First we'll kick the emo hair out of their shops and establishments, and we'll make them stitch a badge saying "EMO" on their clothes. Then we'll drag all hair out of their houses and we'll move them to ghettos, were they will have their rightful place isolated from the rest of us. 50 square meters for each group of 12 emo hairdos will be enough. In the meanwhile, we have been building hair concentration camps, were we'll round up all the undesirable emo hair and force them to work under the most miserable living conditions we can achieve. We'll sterilize all hair so that it doesn't grow any longer and we will conduct horrible and follicle-deforming experiences on them to improve the science behind hair styling. And at last, or final solution is making all emo hair walk into a chamber leading them to believe they'll be bathed with the shampoo they'll desire so much, but in reality we'll flood it with hair-poisononing gas. We have to prevent the growth of these parasites! Do not allow the emo hair to ruin this great community! http://s5.tinypic.com/2agjnyr.jpg | 2011-08-03 02:11:00 Author: SnipySev Posts: 2452 |
Lol, I don't like those emo sacks too. Them and their black and white hair and piercings. | 2011-08-03 02:24:00 Author: Tileno Posts: 81 |
This has to be one of the most unthought-out and dumb idea for a topic i've seen yet. sorry for the rude word "dumb". but it's true. Your asking MM to take away something people payed for... and just because it's popular?! it is a good costume piece. and it can be used for non Emo stuff ya know? they won't take it away and nor should they. your being a horribly pity person to even Suggest this idea. someone please delete this topic. or at least lock it. sorry for getting mad, but this kind of thing really gets to me bad. | 2011-08-03 02:42:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
Well, I got my chance to interview Alex Evans about this matter: http://i635.photobucket.com/albums/uu78/SnipySev/emoalexevans.jpg Alas, he had disappeared Batman style before I could high-five him. That pin'll have to wait for another time Disclaimer: I didn't really meet him and this statement is nothing but a tasteless joke of mine. Please MM, don't sue me | 2011-08-03 03:14:00 Author: SnipySev Posts: 2452 |
All EMO hair must be terminated! http://s5.tinypic.com/2agjnyr.jpg Incredibly funny! Hope it doesn't sail over anyone's head. LBPC is safe, but that image is linked to your LBP profile now! Ballsy! | 2011-08-03 03:17:00 Author: Unknown User |
Incredibly funny! Hope it doesn't sail over anyone's head. LBPC is safe, but that image is linked to your LBP profile now! Ballsy! Nope, it's from a google image search | 2011-08-03 03:19:00 Author: SnipySev Posts: 2452 |
Naa, i don't wear that but still, why remove something people like? Anyway your just saying this because YOUR annoyed by it and not everyone. For example, i hate Coke, that doesn't mean i want to get rid of it. someone please delete this topic. or at least lock it. sorry for getting mad, but this kind of thing really gets to me bad. Agreed with you until that part. He got the right to share his opinion, even if it's not really clever still, this thread shouldn't get deleted and neither locked unless the thread creator want to. | 2011-08-03 03:57:00 Author: Sport_dude Posts: 622 |
He got the right to share his opinion, even if it's not really clever still, this thread shouldn't get deleted and neither locked unless the thread creator want to. And what happens if it broke in to a flame war? or people get more mad then i did and start to get really rude? yeah he has the right to share his opinion, and he did, but that don't mean the topic needs to stay up so people can keep telling him what a bad idea his topic is | 2011-08-03 04:25:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
Yes but still, it's a suggestion. Not much people agree with this suggestion but that doesn't mean we should get rid of it unless he want to. | 2011-08-03 04:40:00 Author: Sport_dude Posts: 622 |
And what happens if it broke in to a flame war? OOOH! Can it? I love arguing on the internets, but you knew that already.... | 2011-08-03 13:17:00 Author: poorjack Posts: 1806 |
Just because people have Emo hair doesn't mean they are emo | 2011-08-03 14:36:00 Author: zzmorg82 Posts: 948 |
People shouldn't hate on emos anymore, except the ones that keep publishing levels like "I'm leaving LBP forever!" or "Everyone hates me", but I know they make those levels because people keep hating on them, but they should know that haters gonna hate. But the one thing I think bothers people the most is how they spam down on the pad | 2011-08-03 16:55:00 Author: TheMonkeyBlade Posts: 687 |
People shouldn't hate on emos anymore, except the ones that keep publishing levels like "I'm leaving LBP forever!" or "Everyone hates me", but I know they make those levels because people keep hating on them, but they should know that haters gonna hate. But the one thing I think bothers people the most is how they spam down on the pad Normal person+audience+anonimity= total jerk. People should know that, both on the internet and in online communities they're gonna find jerks in generous amounts. About the hero hair, of course MM won't remove it. People paid for it. What would MM do, just give people back their money, remove the hair from every player's console? Fumetsusozo's right, this is the worst idea I've ever seen suggested around here, and that's quite an accomplishment. If MM won't consider implementing the tons of excellent suggestions in this forum, why would they even consider complying to this? People buy what they want and use what they want, that's the charm about LBP's customizing. I sure don't like the unoriginal use of this hair either, but I can live with it. It isn't always used in emo style. Let people have their fun. You can always make a level about how this hair is overused and stupid, or you can complain about how it gets you mad (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=55270-Things-That-Make-You-Mad). | 2011-08-03 17:26:00 Author: SnipySev Posts: 2452 |
I got hero hair, and it dosn't mean that im a emo for wearing it. Hero hair become so good that many people ended up wearing it, but i don't always wear hero hair, i wear like tyler hair and googles aswell. It's a very bad idea that you request Mm to remove it from store, because you end up switching on the ps3 to go on LBP 2 and seeing the cool levels with levels like 'HEART IF YOU WANT HERO HAIR BACK' or something like that. Btw, you can't get rid of it once you bought it because A: in already installed on the ps3 and B: It is on the downloads list on the PS Store. Not just emos wear it, girls and non-emo people wear it aswell. It's anybody's opinion anyway and I personaly don't like emo scene anyway... | 2011-08-03 20:45:00 Author: ShiftyDog Posts: 293 |
It's not the hero hair that makes a character emo. It's all the stickers and decorations along with the hero hair. I personally don't like emo characters because they have tons of make-up, piercings and just look bad in my opinion. But, it doesn't really matter if you get rid of the hero hair because they will still find ways to be emo (lol) with other hairs and costumes. | 2011-08-03 21:14:00 Author: Tileno Posts: 81 |
So... Wearing hero hair makes someone emo o.O... I was under the impression it was for super heroes? | 2011-08-03 22:39:00 Author: fireblitz95 Posts: 2018 |
So... Wearing hero hair makes someone emo o.O... I was under the impression it was for super heroes? There are emo superheroes. They need love too! http://www.tabloidprodigy.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/super-emo-friends.jpg | 2011-08-03 23:48:00 Author: SnipySev Posts: 2452 |
Technically they're not emo's - emo's don't really take photographs or anything like that. You're thinking of "Scene Kids" - right? They're like emo's, but slightly more colourful, sociable, and just generally a little more annoying. | 2011-08-04 00:58:00 Author: standby250 Posts: 1113 |
Hey guys, we've been through this before. It's not a costume piece or people's choice of self expression that's the problem here. It's people who are different from others deciding that they're going to hate them for being different. If this were the 1980's it would be the jocks hating on the goths or the geeks, or the popular preppy folks hating on the theater and art kids. The bigger point is that hating on someone just because they express themselves differently or look different from you is a really narrow minded and childish way to go through life. Do adults still do this, oh sure, it's partially why there are hate crimes and a lack of civility in political discussions and neighbor hating neighbor and culture versus culture. I'm not naive enough to think human beings will ever get over their tendency to hate on the "other" but what I'd like to suggest is rather than just labeling someone as emo or whatever and hating on them, think about them as a person first. Someone who has similar fears as you do, someone who deserves to be respected as an individual and not ridiculed or made to feel they are bad or somehow wrong for being who they are. Food to think about. This thread is basically a round two of this one (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=58223-The-quot-Emo-s-quot&p=868927&highlight=hero+hair#post868927) and as such I'm going to lock it down. If you must be a hater, please do it elsewhere. | 2011-08-04 01:00:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
